- Mindo Valley - Pick up 08:00 am. from your hotel. We head north-west and continue descending from 2500 meters high (8202.1 feet) until we reach the Mindo valley at 1250 meters above sea level (4101.05).\n\n On the way to the town our first visit will be the Alambi reserve -one of the best places to see humingbirds and birds - And once in Mindo we keep enjoing by visiting butterfly farm where you can also observe hummingbirds and orchids. \n\nFollowing the program, after crossing La Tarabita (cable car) we will hike in the cloud forest along the waterfall route. If you dare after the hiking you can do ziplining. Lunch time. \n\nThe next activity is to enjoy a delicious chocolate tour. Return to Quito.

Personal approach - The communication with guide prior to trip was excellent. Guide spoke clear English and was knowledgeable and friendly. It was great having a tailor made day to suit our needs. Great to get to see a bit of Equador other than Quito.
