A great way to meet local places in Mindelo - I've enjoyed the walk with Helena. It was quite informative. The talk about the history as well as the contemporary life in Mindelo and Cape Verde. She gave a lot of recommendations, where to shop, dine or go to enjoy the music, art. Highly recommended!

Great walking tour - would recommend! - Deborah was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed walking around Mindelo. Lots of local tips for bars, restaurants and artisan gifts. Thank you very much.

Amazing and extensive tour about Mindelo. - Our Guido really took the time for us and explained in a lot of detail a lot of history of cabo verde and mindelo. Showed us a lot of places where we could shop, have a drink or eat.

Great tour with lots of insights - The girls were super nice and gave us a lot of information about the city and what is happening on the island. We really enjoyed walking with them. They also sent an email wihh the all the tips and infos after the tour. Thanks a lot!

Although Viator confirmed... - Although Viator confirmed our tour and our paiement nobody showed up at the meeting place. After our contact by telephone with Paname ( the local contact) they told us they didn’t receive any email about our booking. We organized this tour to get a first impression of the city, this wasn’t possible anymore. So we did the highlights of the city ourself in the morning. Luckely Helena ( Paname) called us at noon and was willing to do the tour in the afternoon.. she was wonderful! A very interesting lady who told us very interesting stuff about Mindelo. She made our day!

Big let down !! - I booked this tour on 17th Nov 2022 (through Freetour.com - who I've used lots of times) to take the tour on Sunday 4th Dec 2022, starting at 10am
My husband and I were on a cruise and had never visited Cape Verde so were looking forward to discovering this new place.
We arrived at the meeting point at 9.45 and waited around until 10.20 but the guide didn't appear. We were so disappointed but also annoyed that we hadn't been contacted by anybody to say the tour wasn't taking place.
Would be interested in what the tour provider has to say.
