Highly Recommended Tour to the Waterfalls & Coffee Farm - Martin provided an excellent private tour to the waterfalls in Minca and to the coffee farm. His tour worked well for our group as one of the people has mobility issues. We drove fairly close to the waterfalls so it was a shorter hike in. Highly recommended.

Excellent Tour in the Coffee Country - The private tour with Gustavo was excellent. He arrived promptly at the lodge to pick us up. He was very personable and his English very good. We walked on the paths in the Corcoran valley where he was very familiar with the plants and animals. Later we visited Aurora coffee company, a small coffee farm. He knew the owner and thoroughly explained the process from bean to coffee. Lastly, we walked through Salento, where he talked about the history of. A member of our group had mobility issues and Gustavo easily accommodated our group. I highly recommend this tour.

The best way to experience all of Minca’s gems - We had an awesome day from start to finish. Our guide, Martin, was super knowledgeable in the history of the town & answered all of our questions! We started the day at Pozo Azul, then the coffee farm; Finca Victoria, which has so much cool history! Then we headed to the town of Minca for the most delicious homemade sancocho that tastes like a Colombian grandma’s secret recipe, we then took a trip to the Marinka waterfalls, which were so refreshing to swim in. Martin was super chill and accommodating to our needs & took some sweet pictures of us! Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a more relaxed & less crowded tour experience.

Beautiful day at waterfalls and Coffee farm with a very friendly private tour guide - We had an incredible nice day with Martin, very personal and tailored for our taste. Started early in the morning with a pick up in our hotel in Santa Marta and Martin took the 2 of us straight to the Pozo Azul (normally super crowded, many people recommend not to go there). But at 7.30am there was nobody, not even the guards and usual vendors sho we were alone in the beautiful pond in front of the waterfall. We had plenty of time there before the next tourists arrived. After that we visited the coffee Finka Victoria, beautiful place with a private tour by the farmers explaining about their coffee process and showing us the equipment they use. Of course there was time for breakfast, coffee and even artisanal beer which they brew on the farm (very good btw). We drove then back to Minca, changed into a FWD and drove up a dirt road to the MARINKA Waterfalls where we had again the chance to swim and soak in front of the falls. During the whole day Martin explained us everything we wanted to know about Colombia, Santa Marta, culture etc… so far this was the best day of our vacation in Colombia, beautiful and informative. Thanks Martin for that experience

A Day to Remember! - They were a great experience. So many of my parents that my kids had fun together. I told them what we wanted to do and they customized our tour. They gave us good recommendations too. We got to blue pit before the crowd arrived. Then we went to the Victoria coffee farm which was very nice and interesting (coffee is very good but expensive). We had good lunch in a restaurant in Minca. From there we went to the Marinka waterfall which is a great experience as you go by the photos. Finally we went to the candelaria for the cocoa tour. The tour and view are worth it. Climbing up to the candlestick in the 4x4 was your own experience! Get down well! Our guides/drivers Alfredo and Shenandoah were very good and had a lot of fun with them. And thanks to Martin for organizing it efficiently.

Amazing tour! - My family and I had an amazing waterfall and coffee tour. Our guides Daniele and Alfredo were awesome! They gave us the history of Santa Marta, the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Minca. They were funny and so kind. The coffee farm tour was very cool and informative. The restaurant our guides picked out had the most delicious food we had in Columbia. The tour was worth every penny! We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Great adventure with fun, friendly guides! - What a fun adventure! We felt like we were in Romancing the Stone, riding a jeep up through mountain "roads" to see grand waterfalls and visit an amazing hotel for lunch. If you want Instagram worthy photos or just to take in the beautiful vistas, this is your tour!

What an experience! - I highly recommend Iguanas Tours if you want a more personalized exploration of Minca and the surrounding areas. I found them on Trip Advisor and booked the tour through the Iguanas Tours website. We were able to contact Martin beforehand with our questions and were able to confirm our two pick-up locations. During the holidays, the touristy spots get busy, so Alfredo, our Spanish-speaking guide, picked us up in Santa Marta super early so we could beat the crowds. We headed straight for Pozo Azul – one of the most famous waterfalls in the area, and it was terrific. We were there with only a few other locals and tourists – it was so serene. The water was super cold, but we took the plunge, which was so refreshing. The next stop was La Victoria for a tour of one of the oldest coffee farms in Colombia. It was a nice stop, and enjoyable to listen to the area's rich history. The ride to our next stop, the Minca Hostel, was one of our favorite parts of the day. It is easy to see why a 4x4 is the way to travel up in the mountains above Minca. It was a bumpy, bouncy ride full of laughter and an impromptu stop at Louis's coffee farm, where we enjoyed the best cappuccino and conversation! Finally, we made it to the hostel for lunch and were greeted with chill vibes. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a few Caprihinis while sitting in the netted canopies over the hillside. I highly recommend this company for a personalized tour!
