Calligraphy and How to Properly Use Chopsticks - Great time, and cozy atmosphere! The instructors were fun, interesting and so kind. Nice creative outlet and reprieve getting out of the busy city.

Fun with art and Japanese culture - Great activity that really allows you to learn more about Japanese culture with the lovely team at Shodo Cafe.
This was a great team building experience in Tokyo, completely outside of our normal experience it naturally brokedown barriers and built connections.

Nice experience, lovely teacher and friend! - Callygraphy is a fantastic art. Was nice to have a look inside with a little try. Actually it is so difficoult and it takes years.

Perfect - The place was very charming and inviting. Just what we were looking for. Our 3 hosts were nice. One of them was wearing a traditional kimono. The refreshment that was offer was welcome. One of the host took a bunch of pictures and air drop them to me so I did not have to worry about taking pictures during the teaching and practice. They were also super accommodating with our 3 kids. One of my kids said it was her favorite activity during our Japan trip.

Fun artistic activity! - Very friendly instructors! Had a great time learning the basics of shodo and we got to bring home our creations too. The matcha tea was delicious too!

Awesome unique experience! - Absolutely wonderful experience!
So intricate and beautiful.
We learned a lot about all the different brush strokes and how the ink is made.
The hostesses are so friendly!! Lots of laughter and always ready to help.
We got to keep all our practice calligraphy and made a personal fan also!
Would definitely recommend!

Shodo - Shodo experience was great. I learned a lot, Shodo history, the mindset, and how to write the kanji nicely. How beautiful Japanese culture. I loved it.

Shodo!! - It was beautiful moment for us! I am interested in Japanese calligraphy, also my friend. The teacher wear Kimono is stunning and she taught us basic technique kindly. Actually this art experience is the best way to effective for unifying our mind. Highly recommended!

The mindful art of japanese calligraphy! - My friends and I went to do Japanese calligraphy cafe and had a amazing time. We reserved the whole cafe cause we were large group (15 people). We spent time learning about japanese chararters. This art experience is like a meditation, it makes me refleshed when I write calligraphy. This cafe is great way to start learning Japanese calligrphy. Highy recommended!!!
