Very nice - Our guide Dan was very nice and the sunset tour pretty great even if dolphins weren't show up. We saw some manatees, cut. Bioluminescence tour was great tour but not the best period to enjoy it. We have the chance to see a rocket launch from the canal.

Kayaks and yukyukyuks - Dan, the guide, was spectacular! He was only slightly upstaged by the 🦩 flamingoes, white pelicans, and dolphins. Dad jokes for days.

Amazing Adventure - We’ve been wanting to do a bioluminescent kayak tour for a long time, and figured this year was as good as any. We Googled options and came across BK Adventures sunset and bioluminescent package, and thought it looked right up our alley. We love to kayak, we love sunsets and we love wildlife… perfect. We also are very familiar with the Merritt Island Preserve area, so we knew right away where this tour met and exactly how long it would take for us to arrive from our beach house in Cocoa Beach. So we packed a light dinner along with our kayaking gear and pointed our Mustang East. When we arrived, we were greeted by our incredible guide, Dan. As experienced kayakers, we were ready to roll but Dan did a great job of explaining the whole process to the less experienced kayakers in our group. After a few minutes of instruction, we were off. The sunset portion of our tour took us through Haulover Canal where we saw numerous dolphins fishing right around our kayaks. Viewing dolphins that close never gets old, and we’re always in awe of these beautiful creatures. One of the couples in our group was struggling, and Dan was amazing with them. Eventually, he clipped his kayak to theirs and paddled them back against the current to the sunset portion of the trip. Unfortunately , just enough clouds rolled in to mute the sunset but it was a still a beautiful view. After a short break to use the port-o-potties, eat some food etc. we were off again to the bioluminescent portion of the tour. Dan quickly guided us to numerous comb jellies and even caught quite a few of them. The tour even provided some nets so we could catch and hold some of them ourselves which was a very cool experience. We’ve experienced many comb jellies during the day, but never during the night. They light up a beautiful blue and look like Christmas lights as you’re paddling. As we moved around the area finding more comb jellies, more dolphins surfaced and hunted all around us. Overall, it was just an incredible experience, especially for nature lovers like us. We’ve been on a number of guided adventures, and Dan was as good as they come. He was friendly, funny, personable and knowledgeable, and he made the entire trip incredibly enjoyable. He even handed out some souvenirs at the end that we’ll certainly keep to remind us of our incredible evening. The full trip was about three hours, but I think even novice kayakers could handle it as it was pretty easy kayaking. Do yourself a favor and book this tour! Love it very much! - It was just the 3 of us with Dan on 2/4/24, so it was like a private tour. Dan's the man. He's very knowledgeable, from birds, jellies, water, waves to stars and satellites. The wind was a little too strong for my mom (78) and I (54), so Dan offered 3 choices: 1) Take a raincheck, 2) Go anyway and decide to continue or raincheck after 15 minutes, 3) Wait 30 minutes for the wind to calm down and go. We chose to go right away and he navigated us safely across some challenging waves (for us anyway, 2 elder 5' tall ladies). Anyway, we made it fine and loved it so much. Note: We haven't kayak before but we have a little of paddle boat experience. Glowing conb jellies are very cool and we saw and touched plenty. There were enough of dinoflagellates to brighten our nets too.

Great - Dan and Sarah was amazing. We saw so many manatees and dolphins. Sarah and Dan was very knowledgeable of the local wildlife. You will have a great time with them. Bring bug spray, if you get bitten by bugs easily.

Unique Experience Every Time! - Our combo sunset and night tour was excellent! Leo was funny and knowledgeable and did a great job! The weather wasn't the best but we still saw dolphins, an osprey catch a fish, a cormorant make a crash landing in a tree right next to us then make a graceful dive into the water, and an ENORMOUS gator 🤯 And the cone jellies were really cool! The dolphins were all around us after dark, only sorry we couldn't see them...I think they were making fun of us 🤭 Great time, would go again in a heartbeat. Their list of items to bring is right on. There was no porta potty where we launched but there is one on the way in. In the winter the break between the day and the night portion of the tour is shorter so bring quick snacks.

Great tour!! - My guide was Dan the Snackman! For the sunset trip we paddled out to Bird Island, got to see the 4 flamingoes! We went all the way around the island so we could see the pelicans and roseate spoonbills. For the bioluminscent tour we had 6 people plus Dan. Dan took us on a great tour back in the mangroves so we could find lots of bioluminescense. Dan gave great explanations of all that we saw!! I highly recommend this tour!

Sunset Kayaking with Bioluminescence Tour ~ highly recommended! - My family did the Sunset Kayaking with Bioluminescence Tour. Great experience & great guides (Jay & Jade.) We ended up seeing multiple dolphins, a Cape Canaveral rocket launch with a great view from the water and a nice bio show after dark. The guides added so much to the experience I'd highly recommend both parts!

One for the bucket list - Had an amazing and exhilarating experience with BK Adventure. John H, Garrett and Jio were welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable guides. The sunset portion of the tour was beautiful. We were very lucky to see manatees up close. But the real magic happens after dark. The bioluminescence is breath-taking and feels like you're in Pandora. Would recommend this tour to anyone (unless you're afraid of the dark!). NB: Wear more bug spray than you think you could ever need.

Very Informative Tour - Kamari and Ranger were great guides! Kamari was extremely knowledgeable about bioluminesance and showed us jelly combs. We did not see alot of bioluminesance but enjoyed a beautiful clear star filled sky.
