You cannot go to Buenos Aires and not try tango - We enjoyed the Tango lesson, which was explained to us in a patient and informative way. Once we got to the milonga we were met with our guide for the night, Maria who was brilliant. She stayed with us through the whole night explaining the rules of the milonga and we managed to get to watch her dance also which was great to see. We also enjoyed watching all the people climb their Tango dance, unfortunately we were too self conscious after just one lesson.

Fantastic tango lesson... - Fantastic tango lesson and milonga experience! Our guide and her partner provided a great introduction to tango in their dance studio. Whether or not you have danced Argentine tango before, you'll get a lot out of the lesson--they are both patient teachers and exceptionally talented at this challenging style. Then, we spent the rest of the evening at a milonga dance hall, sharing food and appreciating the atmosphere. If you have a bit more experience than we did, you could certainly jump onto the floor. We chose to appreciate the dancing from afar!

Great from start to finish! - Great experience from start to finish! The instructor and her partner shared the history of tango, were very patient with me (very much an amateur!), had a great sense of humor, and you could tell that they really loved the art form. Very grateful, also for the end of the class, where I was able to witness an authentic tango milonga, which was very lively! Will have to take a follow up class next time I’m in town! Highly suggest!
