Embark on a two-hour journey across the expansive depths of Milford Sound, situated in Fiordland. Your voyage will guide you beyond St Anne’s lighthouse and into the Tasman Sea. Knowledgeable guides will highlight picturesque features throughout the journey, such as the Bowen Falls (plunging 160 metres towards the sea), Sinbad Gully (a perfect specimen of a hanging valley), the snowy peak of Mount Pembroke, and the impressive Mitre Peak, rising 1692 metres above the sea bed.

Stunning scenery best seen from the smaller boats! - Such a fantastic place! Milford Sound is stunning, and has to be seen to be properly appreciated. The smaller boats that Mitre Peak use are able to get much closer to the waterfalls/seals etc so we got some amazing sights! Despite the smaller boats, it was not at all crowded and we were able to alternate between being outside to inside with a warm drink. We especially enjoyed the 'glacial facial'!

Great Tour!! - Jeff was an AMAZING tour guide, super knowledgeable and fun with a great sense of humour. The information he shared throughout the bus tour about the history and geography of the area and the wild life along with some personal anecdotes made this trip really enjoyable from start to finish! Obviously, the impressive scenery along the road and at Milford Sound itself was a plus ;)

Fantastic Experience - Our ship, The Milford Sovereign, was comfortable and roomy even with so many people on board. It rained early in the morning which added to the experience and also made the waterfalls more spectacular. I must give a special mention to the lass who provided the commentary. She was informative and spoke very clearly, encouraging the passengers to go up to the outer deck when something special was happening, such as a pod of dolphins appearing.

Milford sound small cruise - The views are incredible, took lots of pictures. Under the fall was highlight of the cruise , weather is perfect as after the rain many water falling from creek .

Mitre Peak is the best! - Awesome experience! Smaller boat and more attention by the crew from Mitre Peak - highly recommend them. Very nice all around and a definite must do!

Wonderful Trip - Our tour lasted about 2 hours. The boat sailed the entire length of Milford Sound to the sea. There were wonderful views of the sound and the mountains. We had numerous dolphins accompanying our boat for over 30 minutes. The crew gave good explanations about the nature and geography. Overall, a highly recommended tour.

Paradise cruise - Wonderful cruise for us, particularly as it was a much smaller boat than some of the others so we weren’t jostling for views or space. Some had 3 levels and I can’t imagine how busy those boats would have been. Really informative skipper and of course amazing views! Highly recommended
