Additional Information

Grounded in my fervor for culinary arts and family recipes that have been perfected across generations, I’ve had the privilege of honing my skills in premier Italian and international cooking academies, including the esteemed Paul Bocuse Institute (3* Michelin) located in the picturesque Ecully castle. During our time together, we’ll unfold the intricacies of crafting delicious ravioli or whip up tagliatelle using my beloved Bolognese nanny’s recipes. Step-by-step, you’ll master the art of creating authentic Italian gelato, which is simpler than it seems. Bear in mind that Italian cuisine is relatively straightforward to prepare with a minimalistic ingredient list, but mandates high-quality produce; this uncomplicated approach is the secret to its outstanding taste.

Our culinary journey will unfold in a venue blanketed by a verdant array of fruit trees and an abundance of flowers, which you can enjoy while having your lunch/dinner with a breathtaking view of Milan’s skyline. Our location is also conveniently proximate to the Duomo square, Leonardo’s Last Supper, the Prada museum, and the Navigli. Situated in the Designer and Fashion zone with subway services till 1 am, it ensures an invigorating yet safe exploration in the historical grandeur of Milan that will certainly be etched in your memory!

Beyond my expectations! - My wife and I truly enjoyed every minute of this experience. We were hosted very well and learned plenty about making both gelato and pasta. We had never been taught how to make either, so we found it truly insightful. We really enjoyed the size of the group (we only had 7 of us present) and how each of us came from different cultures. It led to some great dinner conversations! Marco and his family are incredible. Take advantage of getting that time with them!

Can't recommend this enough! - This has been an amazing experience! The hosts were very friendly and attentive, carefully guided us through each step of making pasta and gelato. Bruna's flat is incredible and she has the friendliest pets.

Best way to have delicious dinner and learn - Another 5 star review of this experience. I cannot recommend this enough. We had one afternoon/evening in Milan before taking off on a road trip through NW Italy. After flying overnight, taking a little nap in the hotel, I just didn’t want to spend the rest of the day wandering around looking at churches. I booked this through TripAdvisor. I was sent very detailed instructions to the apartment which was helpful because there is some construction in the area. We took a train and walked without problem. We did not get to meet Nonna. Her grand daughter taught the class for us. She was a delight! We ended up being a group of 10. Half Americans and half London girls. The pasta making was so much fun. My husband and I made gelato while the rest of the class made Tiramisu. It was all so delicious. We laughed and told stories while we learned. Then we got to eat all the food!!! The do give you all the recipes to make at home. This was such a perfect way to spend a low key evening in Milan.
