Last Supper painting - Viewing of the painting —- much larger than expected and the detail from the design of the tablecloth to the disciples’ feet and table legs under the table which you do not see in a picture of it. We came so very close to losing this masterpiece during WW2 due to bombing of the region.

A guided tour of the Last Supper Museum in Milan, starting with the history of the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the artists who were part of it; from the beautiful square, inside the church, a complete preview before entering the heart of the experience with a visit to Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper, a work absolutely to be admired and discovered. Thanks to the enthusiasm and competence of Anna, the guide, I was able to observe and "feel" one of the most famous and representative masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, so far from us, yet so current. An experimental work today located in the refectory of the convent adjacent to the sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie. 15 minutes of tour enough to enter the world of the artist: his life, his knowledge, his works. 15 minutes to understand that the Last Supper, in addition to being technique and colour, is an experience worth having in the splendid city of Milan.

Not to be missed! - Wonderful tour, I recommend the guided tour to fully enjoy it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. You are only allowed to stay inside the room for 15 minutes but it is enough to remain enraptured. Highly recommended!

Leonard's masterpiece just takes your breath away, but without the guide I would have totally missed a lot of nuances about the painting that make it even more incredible. I had the opportunity to return and this time with the guided tour, something completely different! Very competent and friendly guide.
