Discover the surrounding area and traverse it, including a pause for lunch at a local eatery (at your own cost) which might serve some traditional cuisine!
Finally, we board the train returning to Milan Central station.

Great Day at the Lake !! - We had the good fortune to spend the day with Giula and my wife and I were the only ones so we had her to ourselves.
We meet up at the train station - but make sure you walk up the main stairs and across from Door C - Bar Centrale to meet. We asked several people working at the station and they were clueless where Bar Centrale was.
Varenna was the first stop and we toured there initially. The tour included Castello di Vezio, a ferry across the Lake - a beautiful lunch stop, and apple farm, and lots more.
Overall - in spite of rain- it was a great day made even better by the fabulous Giula

Perfect day seeing beautiful spots of Lake Como - My mother and I really enjoyed our day with Lucca, seeing all the small and large beautiful nuanced spots and valleys of Lake Como would have only been possible by car and with a seasoned guide. Really memorable, Lucca is super warm and welcoming, it felt like we had made a good friend! The local lunch in a remote town was also spectacular and lake como was even beautiful on our cloudy misty day!

The best way to visit Lake Como! - This small group tour was amazing and the highlight of our vacation. Clear instructions were provided about the start of the day, and we had a great train ride hosted by Paola, who was able to provide history/commentary about the area. We then met up with our amazing guide, Luca, who had planned an unforgettable day. He is very knowledgeable about the area, and very thoughtfully organized the activities to avoid crowds and see authentic sites off the beaten path. We saw amazing views of the lake and mountains, visited a castle, took a ferry across the lake, visited multiple towns/villages, had lunch at an amazing restaurant overlooking the lake, toured the valley north of the lake with vineyards and meeting locals, and so much more. Too many things to write about and all with Luca’s fun personality and historical commentary. This did not feel like a tour but a fun day hanging out with a friend or family member. Do yourself a favor and book this experience!

Lake Como small group all day tour. - We had a great time. The locations were great. Our guide, Silvia, was great. We covered most of Lake Como, saw a castle, had a fantastic lunch in a restaurant that no one would find on their own. We only had 3 nights in Milan and no car, so this was a perfect way to see sights we otherwise would have missed. This tour is for small groups so is very intimate. Highly recommended.

A great way to explore Lake Como - The trip from Milan to Lake Como and its villages was an unforgettable experience, all thanks to Luca! His warmth and friendliness made the tour truly special. From sharing fascinating insights into the region's history and culture to indulging in authentic local dishes, every moment was a delight.
! Luca ensured a seamless experience but for first timers arriving early is advisable as navigation in the station can be tricky. Also, it is advisable to have breakfast beforehand and bring some water with you especially on warmer days. The trip offers excellent value for money with a duration that is just right, allowing us to soak in the sights without feeling rushed. Overall, this was an exceptional experience and we highly recommend it!

A Great Way to See Lake Como and Surrounding Area - We were the only 2 booked for the tour to Lake Como on the day we visited so, by default, this turned into an unexpected private tour. Lucca is exceptionally organized and ensures that all instructions for meeting tour guides are detailed and understood prior to departure. That made for a very smooth tour. The tour itself was also exceptional. Sylvia was our tour guide for the day and we had a driver (Andre?) and his new Mercedes at our disposal for the tour. Sylvia was a great tour guide, very friendly, energetic and informative, who spoke fluent English. She ensured that the itinerary was customized to our liking and pace. Varenna, the ferry ride across to Menaggio, the drive up the lake shore and the restaurant for lunch, were all highlights of a truly memorable day. Spectacular scenery on a warm spring day with Sylvia providing informative commentary along the way. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Northern Italy.

Wonderful day around the lake - Luca and Silvia were wonderful hosts. We had a great day seeing Varenna and Menaggio. We made a special request to go for a hike and they took us to Val di Mello which had fantastic glaciers and hiking trails. Thank you for a truly unforgettable day during our short trip to Milan. Thanks for making a special hiking trip just for us!

Great Even With The Rain - This was a great trip. We were a relatively small group which made it more personal. The group was great as were the guides.
From meeting Flavia at the train station to being met by Luca it ran really well.
We wasn’t blessed with the weather but it didn’t impact the day at all, you see so much and are given so much information and history.
The lunch stop was great and I would highly recommend the barely soup. Divine!
The whole day was fabulous and the whole group including Luca and his team kept each entertained for the whole day.!
If you are looking to see Lake Como this is the one to book, small group, great guides, what more do you need.!
