Happy I Went With a Guide - I was really happy that I chose to visit La Scala with a guide rather than on my own. Our guide gave just the right amount of information regarding the building, the operas performed there, and the people involved in making La Scala the great venue that it is.

Good information was provided - It was a very nice tour. However, from the minute the tour guide began, she kept saying that she doesn’t have a lot of time and needs to go someplace else. She continued saying that throughout the tour which we found annoying and inappropriate as we paid to have the guided tour.

Worth the time - Being able to stand in the theatre boxes and watch the tech work taking place on stage while guide gave history was great. The 3 flights of steep stairs was challenging and the elevator was not available.
