Brava! - My Fashion Stylist Ethel was lovely and patient shopping with me. We had coffee together to warm up before heading out to shop. She really loves what she is doing and gave great advice. One pair of pants was bit longer than I expected, but I love the shape, Ethel stepped extra miles and time to help me finding a professional tailor on the same day of shopping to fix it for me. It turned out to be perfect. I had so much fun shopping and chatting with Ethel, and would love to recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning the trend in fashion world and enjoying shopping in Milan.

Ethel guided us through an array of amazing second-hand and vintage shops, as well as sale outlets, providing her expertise to help us select interesting items, without any pressure to buy anything. Despite this, we ended up buying quite a few pieces and we couldn’t have been happier with our finds! We highly recommend this tour to anyone with a slight (or significant!) interest in fashion. Ethels’s knowledge and style, and the unique shops we visited made it a memorable experience!

Disappointing Experience - Not What I Expected - As a frequent traveler who enjoys immersing myself in the local culture of each destination, I was deeply disappointed by my recent experience on this Shopping Tour in Milan. Here's why: 1. Lack of Local Insight: The host of the tour was not Italian, which greatly detracted from the authenticity I was seeking. I had hoped to explore Milan's hidden gems and receive insider suggestions from a local perspective. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as the host was from Israel, leaving me feeling disconnected from the true essence of the city. 2. Misleading Itinerary: Despite the tour being advertised as a Vintage Shopping Tour, only a fraction of the 11 stores visited were actually vintage shops. Even worse, I was already familiar with four of these vintage stores, rendering them far from hidden gems. The remaining stops consisted of mono-brand stores that did not align with the tour's title. To make matters worse, we ended up in a gadget store reminiscent of Flying Tiger from Copenhagen, a far cry from the experience I had signed up for. 3. Lack of City Commentary: Throughout the tour, there was a notable absence of commentary about the city itself. It's customary for hosts to provide insights into the neighborhoods, landmarks, and local culture, but this was sorely lacking. I missed out on valuable context and insights that would have enriched my experience and deepened my appreciation for Milan. 4. Overall Disappointment: While the host, Ethel, was friendly and outgoing, I cannot recommend this tour to others. Despite her efforts, the tour failed to deliver on its promises and fell short of expectations. In the end, it simply wasn't worth the time or investment.
