Do it all! - Our guide was lovely. So knowledgeable. Seeing the Duomo from the outside is incredible, but the tour inside is a must. And take the stairs to the roof. I am 64. It’s 160 + 90 steps and very doable. You do not need the lift. And the views!

Bring water. The heat is... - Bring water. The heat is immense. If you book the rooftop make sure to get the package with the elevator. Climbing all the stairs combined with the heat will get you. Otherwise WOW!!! What a beautiful site to see, our guide was full of facts and information. Definitely would book again. I reached out to the guide prior to arrival as we were running late from Venice, they were wonderful about allowing us to join the next group.

Great, truly recommend - The tour itself was well organized, from tickets to finish. The guide was really great, she spoke good english and was patient in showing us around the cathedral. Terraces are breathtaking

The meeting point... - The meeting point provided was elusive. The gift shop you operated in front of, didn't even know who you were nor did he know the address. The Viator sign was tucked away behind the gift shop door.
The start time posted was 11:00 am, but actual time was 11:30 am. The order of the itinerary was not in the order posted. How do you purchase a lift ticket vs a stair ticket?

Overpriced, skip-the-line scam and rudeness. - We bought the skip-the-line and still queued for half an hour.
At that point they replied that the service was no longer provided, but in the meantime they charged.
The elevator does not reach as high as you might think but there are still many steps.
The stars we have put are only for the Duomo, building that needs no introduction. For the rest, let's leave it alone.
Expensive tickets, rudeness to tourists, we asked for clarification and three orderlies gave three different answers.
For us, an experience not to be repeated.

Poor organisation. - The actual guide was very good however the organisation was poor. The meeting place was difficult to find. We arrived early and redeemed our tickets to be then sent to the museum only to get a call asking where we were and could we come a meet ASAP. We obliged even though we had only been in the museum 5 Minutes . This was a miscommunication through the staff which meant we could not go back into a museum. Even though we were offered eventually to have this fixed after the tour we did not take it up as the tour was very late to what was advertised and the manager came across very abrupt bordering on rude. a little disappointing for the price.

The worst tour vendor i ever used - Vendor canceled the tour 6 min after the tour supposed start. Not showing up but by email i saw 30 min later. They should canceled 24 hours prior - the same policy for us and them. On the top everyone was drenched from the rain and the guide didn't show up. Unprofessional and disrespectful to us.
