  • 2351 Wedekind Dr - Immerse yourself in the life of a World War II Aviation Cadet with this full-day experience. Start your adventure with registration and the temporary issuance of flight gear. Receive comprehensive ground and flight training as your instructor takes you through the initial steps of WWII Aviation cadet training. This ‘immersion’ experience is crafted to authentically replicate the cadets’ first day of training. You have the option to choose the level of realism in how your Captain interacts with you.
    The package includes two hours of flight time in a PT-19, divided into three instructional flights, and approximately 3.5 hours of classroom and ground instruction, which encompasses instructor-led training and educational videos. Enjoy a lunch served in a ‘mess kit’. The experience culminates with a graduation ceremony where you’ll earn your wings (WWII Replica Pilot Wings; Women Airforce Service Pilots version for women), and concludes with a debriefing at the officers club, complete with refreshments.
    Participants will also receive a BCW Baseball Cap or T-shirt as a keepsake.
    The maximum weight limit is 235 pounds.
    Participants must be at least 18 years old to sit in the front of the aircraft, and at least 14 years old to take part, although younger participants will be seated in the rear for the flight segments.
    The experience requires a minimum outside air temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit to proceed.

Additional Information

Transport yourself to 1943 and immerse yourself in a day-long aviation cadet experience. Your journey will commence with receiving your duty call, moving onto ground and flight training, featuring 2 hours of flight lessons in a vintage 1943 Fairchild PT-19, divided over three separate flights. A nostalgic ‘mess kit’ lunch awaits you, reminiscent of the authentic 1943 setting. The finale of the day is a graduation ceremony where you receive your wings (WWII Replica Pilot Wings; women receive the WASP version), followed by a post-action review in the officers club, complete with beverages and snacks.

  • *There is a minimum age of 18 to sit in the front of the aircraft. Minimum age of 14 to participate, but you will sit in the backseat of he aircraft for the flying portion.
