Give this a go, you will not regret it - This is about a 40 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale up the 595 interstate. This was well worth the trip a great place to spend a couple of hours. Loads of different birds and helpful staff to give you more information. They even have a tram that travels round the gardens if you have mobility issues The flamingos will eat straight out of your hands if you are brave enough for that huge iguanas all over the place there’s also various birds of prey and parrots.

All around nice visit. - Very enjoyable. I arrived in time to see the nature show at 11:30; and the feeding of the alligators. The stilts stole a hotdog right off of the ladies bun. Nice grounds. Good gift shop.

Wander, Wonder & Unwind at Flamingo Gardens - Flamingo Gardens is a peaceful, hidden gem just outside Fort Lauderdale. It allows for leisurely strolls along shady paths surrounded by towering trees, colorful tropical blooms, and free-roaming peacocks. It felt like stepping into a tropical sanctuary. It was a great spot to slow down, connect with nature, and soak in some natural beauty.

Like walking though a tropical rain forest - Something for everyone. Birds, plants & trees, art amongst nature. It's like walking through a tropical jungle or rain forest. We were skeptical going as to how interesting it would be and we were pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful location. Very well maintained! - Nice place. All comments made by the tour guide were easy to understand and adapted to the audience, especially children that were visiting at mean time. Plenty of trees, the place is amazing and so beautiful. The tour in train well commented. We will maybe not return soon but the visit is highly recommended!
