Highlights

Meet your tour guide at the Bay of Pigs Memorial at 10am to begin this cultural walking tour through a humble but evolving neighborhood, boasting a kaleidoscope of culture, traditional customs, and vivid colors. Weave in and out of streets that mark the site of secret ritual offerings, the very location where the Bay of Pigs was planned, and the fountain of youth for the mature resident.

You’ll find out which cigar JFK liked so much that he bought the entire national supply before passing the embargo. Enjoy a fun and informative walk through Little Havana. Sample some classic Cuban bites which may include a Cuban sandwich, fried plantains, roast pork, and Cuban coffee at a family restaurant. Your tour guide can answer any questions about the history, the food, the people, and the politics. Guides will gladly take your photos for your entire group so no one is left out. A pre-planned menu is selected. Coffee, sodas, and juices are not included but may be purchased on their own.

The tour ends at the El Pub restaurant around 1pm.

Great walking, food and drink tour in Little Havana - Superb walking, food and drink tour of Little Havana. Jennifer was a very knowledgeable, informative and friendly guide who showed us places that we would not have visited otherwise. We both loved the tour, and would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about the food and history behind Little Havana. Throughout the tour we were able to sample Cuban food and drink, and we upgraded to the meal and drink package at the end, and found this to be great value for money.

Great way to learn the area! - We had a great time with Jen! It's clear she has built relationships in the Little Havana community and we appreciate getting to know the people, not just the food. It was lovely to talk with her about the history of the area and try some of her favorite spots. She gave us some additional recommendations for the rest of our stay in the area as well. Thank you!!

Family food tour - Hi we are a family of 6, traveling all ages from retired to a 3 year old. Jennifer took the time to greet each one of our party and let us tell a bit about ourselves to tailor the tour to our liking. At each stop we had a treat and the treats were prepared in an orderly fashion, not a lot of waiting around like I’ve had on previous tours. The guide was informative and original. We took the 10am tour, it was a hot day in Miami so expect that and dress accordingly. Jennifer took us to mostly air conditioned spots which was even better. Would recommend this tour with Jennifer. Don’t waste money splurging on the upgraded drink package, not worth it.
