Casa Habano - Upon entering the Casa Habano, each guest will be greeted with a traditional Cuban coffee or “Cafe Cubano” to get a full sensory experience.
From there we begin a video on the seeding, germination, planting, curing, fermenting and sorting of tobacco leafs before shipped to factories.
We continue by sharing the history of Commercial cigar rolling in Florida which began with small-scale operations by Cuban immigrants in the 1830s, and blossomed in to the “cigar Capital of the World”, with Pioneers like Vicente martinez Ybor and Eduardo Manrara.
Next we visit the GALERA to experience each manufacturing stage:
PRIMARY PROCESS - This is where you get to see firsthand the different types of tobacco and the aging process. Here you will see and learn how various tobaccos are sorted.
DEVEINING - The removal of the center vein is a critical process of preparing the tobacco, and we will show you how it is done. TWISTING & ROLLING - Constructing a cigar is a 3 step process. See our Master Torcedores, twist, bind, press and roll our premium cigars.
PACKING - Once cigars have been rolled they undergo further aging, before they’re label and packaged for distribution.
For safety, we recommend to wear closed shoes.
During the tour, guests are invited to enjoy (1) complimentary cigar.

Our exploration offers an informative and engaging hands-on journey, attracting both smokers and non-smokers who have a taste for ‘art’ and ‘science’. With this exploration, you can understand the roots of tobacco, the methods for growing it, curing it, fermenting and maturing it. We take you on a ride through time, retelling the golden age tale of Florida’s cigar industry, dubbed the ‘Cigar Capital of the World’.

Terrific history and informational tour - The farming aspect of the tobacco industry along with history of how cigars came to be such an art and experience

Great cigar factory tour - I found this tour not only interesting but very educational. You learn everything about how the cigar is created. From the seeds, to the leaves, to the final product. You also have the opportunity to purchase cigars at the shop. I truly enjoyed this experience.

Excellent experience - We learned so much! Did the tour for my boyfriends birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed it. The Cuban pastries and coffee were delicious. The history lesson is very interesting and you can tell the tour operator is very passionate about his business.

What An Eye Opening Experience! - This tour was nothing short of amazing!! There was so much information given to us during the tour. The host showed so much love and pride in his work! He had extensive knowledge on the history, not only on the tobacco production but also on the way it was meant to be blended together to add flavor and smell. I knew so much more leaving his establishment than I knew before walking through the door. I would come back just for the customer service. Watching the two young men with 70+ years of experience between them both hand rolling the cigars with pride and love was such a great experience. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in the back story and history.

Amazing - Renee is a great host, opened up his business to us and welcomed us throughout the whole process. Cannot recommend this enough. Even if you’re not into cigars its a great process to learn.

Don’t miss! - I didn’t know a thing about cigars but now I feel like an aficionado! Interesting, education, and fun! And the coffee and snacks aren't bad either. Everyone that worked there knew their stuff and the owner was such a great guys, even got dining tips. Well worth the stop!!
