Additional Information

Are you aware that most of Miami Beach is artificial? Or that Biscayne Bay was once simply a shallow marshland? Did you know that Miami Beach was the place where Muhammad Ali first captured the world boxing title? Miami Beach’s history is filled with fascinating narratives, and I’ve made it my goal to animate these stories through extensive research, compelling narration, and enthusiasm.

I’m delighted to present an immersive guided bike tour through Miami Beach, where we’ll explore its colorful past and revisit its historical development, which is undeniably more unbelievable than any fiction. Our cycling adventure will guide us across famous roads, through the grand lobbies of spectacular Art Deco hotels, picturesque parks, and historic landmarks. You’ll discover fascinating aspects of the city’s progression from its inception, the foreboding Great Depression, the distinct architecture, Black and Jewish history, Cuban immigration, the infamous era of the cocaine cowboys, the impact of ‘Miami Vice’, the shocking assassination of Gianni Versace, numerous off-the-beaten-path treasures, among other things.

So Worth it. - This tour was phenomenal. Just a cool bike ride through all parts of Miami. You will not look at the buildings the same way. Plus the history, there is so much history here. Cannot give enough props to our guide Damian. He was a fantastic guide. Personable, fun and knows a lot!.

One of a kind experience - Damian was an amazing and thoughtful host with so much unique knowledge about Miami history, art deco architecture, and true crime and pop culture stories in south beach. He has gathered all this knowledge through his own research and love of the subjects and it truly shows as this tour is one of a kind. The weather was 68 and overcast today and it was great for this tour. The biking is not a big workout, more like a means to get from place to place with lots of breaks to learn about the locations. The 3 hours flew by and we had a great time, I would highly recommend this tour!

Get to know Miami Beach by bike - Damian is an excellent guide. He has a sense of humor and is personable. He is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about Miami Beach. The tour group was much smaller than ones by many of the other operators, which I appreciated. And I liked that it was by bicycle. I learned a lot about Miami Beach and loved seeing the Art Deco buildings. Damian also provided recommendations for other places to visit throughout Miami Beach, which was helpful. I highly recommend Damian’s tours.
