What I really appreciate about my guide is that he is honest and will tell you the naked truth about the desert and the nomads and doesn’t emphasize for the sake of touristic experience. He also takes care of non-smokers and vegetarians. After arriving in the desert, I was allowed to walk around alone by myself, which is exactly what I wanted. I stayed at Bivouac Chez Ali, where I had a room with comfortable beds, which kept the warmth during the night. For dinner, I had a tasty Tagine which was quite a lot by volume.
