A Wild Day !! - My wife Barb and I did the same Wild tour 3 weeks ago with the 2 previous reviewers and we also had a fantastic time. We got a bit muddy on the super fun ATV ride but nothing compared to them. They were a mess but we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. The birds, crocodile, the canoeing, the great ATV rides and all the food they fed us was great. Our guide Christopher was fantastic, what an energetic, fun and knowledgeable guy. He certainly loves his job and it showed as he made the day above everything else. We highly recommend the Solferino Nativa Wild Tour ! Peter

Nativa Night Tour - I thought paddling a canoe in a lagoon full of crocodiles was exciting, then I did it at night! The Nativa night tour was absolutely top notch with Chris and Lucas, our highly informative guides. We started our adventure at the lodge, then donned helmets and goggles and jumped into an ATV and drove ourselves on a rollercoaster trail through mud and puddles and over tree roots for about 15 minutes to reach the lagoon. There, we hopped into canoes for a night paddle to a wooden platform in the middle of the lake. There, the night sky is laid out before you, stars, stars and more stars in the sky and crocs around you in the water. We used our headlamps to illuminate the crocodiles sparkling eyes. This was definitely not a silent encounter. Frogs croaked in the background, night birds flew about and the night was alive with the sights and sounds of nature. After paddling back to the dock and another fantastic ATV drive to the lodge, we made our way to a tall platform where we met with owner Philip who regaled us with stories of Mayan culture and the night sky and we looked through a telescope and chatted about the ways of the world. This was followed by a phenomenal dinner at the Melopina restaurant. This was an amazing trek in the wild countryside that should not be missed. Chris was an excellent guide, driver and joke- teller and is obviously passionate about nature and loves what he does for a living. We hope to see him again someday soon!

Wild by Nativa – Amazing Tour!!! - This was the highlight of our trip to Isla Holbox. We saw signs for the tour while we were on the island and we decided to sign up. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned. Getting there from Holbox was very easy. We took a quick ferry ride to Chiquila where we were picked up by our guide. After that, it was a short ride to the park. We went on the Wild Tour, which was amazing. We could not have asked for better tour guides. They were so knowledgeable about everything in the park and passionate about their work. We learned about plants, animals, insects, food, and history. We were able to walk through the jungle, ride ATVs, and canoe in a lagoon. We also got to meet an indigenous Maya woman who showed us how to make tortillas. At the end of our day, we were treated to an incredible meal. If you are going to visit the Yucatán Peninsula, Nativa Park is a must!

Amazing action-packed day! - What a wonderful, humbling, educational and inspiring day we had at Nativa on the Wild tour! Our guides Arturo and Issa were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The day started with a Mayan ceremony, asking the lord of the jungle for permission to enter. It was followed by a walk through the jungle and climbing a tower to see the view; learning about all the trees and the symbiotic relationships between the flora and fauna; driving ATV's through crazy jungle roads and on a thousand year old Mayan highway; meeting a 69-year old Mayan woman and her daughter - learning about their culture and eating tortillas, refried beans and salsa that she had made - all food she had grown and cultivated herself; canoeing in a lotus lagoon and bird-watching; and finally eating a delicious four-course meal back at the main gathering place. It was truly a humbling day and I am so grateful for the experience. This description doesn't really do justice to the richness of the experience and the amount and depth of learning. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny!

Wild in The Jungle! - We were at the Nativa Park in Solferino last week ( 3rd week of January). It is located in the proximity of the protected natural area of Yum Balam. It has been open since last September and is constantly adding some attractions. We took WILD tour. It was a lot of fun driving ATV through freshly cut trails in the jungle. There was a bit of rain a couple of days before and roads were quite challenging and it only added to the adventure. We had very passionate and knowledgeable guides (Isa, Artur and Rene) who made the experience particularly enjoyable. They explained how the park was created and how it operates which is very respectful of the environment and sustainable. We took a couple of hiking loops explaining a fauna and flora of the area. I especially enjoyed information on how Mayans lived in the area for millennia and how closely their history and culture is interwoven with the natural environment and the riches of the jungle. We also enjoyed canoeing on the lake / marsh teaming with birds. We took a trip while vacationing on Isla Holbox which is not far away. I would love to take some other trips offered by the Nativa Park, like bird watching for example, but unfortunately we ran out of time. After the adventure we had a locally flavoured meal at lovely swimming pool. I highly recommend visiting the Nativa Park
