Too many Sales Pitches - We were really looking forward to this experience. The hard sell of obsidian in the get-go was disappointing. We spent one hour at the shopping area. The lunch was just okay. Once on the bus, there was another sales push to buy Mayan liquor- too much pressure. Finally, the guides were nagging about tips. We really liked the visit to Chichén Itzá but the numerous sales pitches tainted the overall experience.
