Fun time! - Xochimilco was fun on a Sunday. Carlos and Angel took good care of us. Lots of info and communication and engaging all participants.

Like Mardi Gras on the water! Coyotes and Churches and colleges are a bonus! - I had a fun time, visiting this great little "floating village." I'm from New Orleans, so it was like Mardi Gras floats on boats, sailing down the canals. Delicious lunch from the cook whose canoe attached to ours and food was prepared fresh and to order! Complete with a mariachi band that glides by you and even a souvenir guy, if you're needing a sombrero or serape in a pinch! Coyoacan was beautiful, and seeing the coyote statues all over, hearing the history and walking in the parks was a nice change from being in the busy city. The stop at CU was informative, as well.

Good weather - We went to some parts that were not contemplated such as a silver factory and the Aztec stadium. The weather was suitable.

Living Mexican Culture. Xochimilco was amazing and it’s part or Mexicans recreation, not a trap for foreigners. - Xochimilco was great, not a tourist trap but a recreation day for Mexicans an any visitor. Coyoacán is a must. Colorful and safe neighborhood. NOTE: the tour begins at Coyoacan all the time not at Xochimilco like every agency states. Not time to go to Frida Kahlo museum even if you have the tickets.

Xochimilco—fun but could be better - We spent an hour driving thru the city to pick up 13 passengers. Much too crowded in the van: 4 people in the 5th row (back.) The guide did not have a microphone. It was hard to hear. We loved the boat trip—colorful and fun, good lunch. Carlos took a nap the entire time, which seemed inappropriate. Since they changed the order of the visits, Carlos took us back to Coyoacan at the end of the day, which we appreciated

Awesome tour guides - Driver and tour guide were excellent, both friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to build a relationship with each participant and made it a memorable trip. Xochimilco was not for us. The canals are very crowded and you don’t really get to see much, just a lot of other boats and people.

Hit or Miss - The tour was okay, I really only wanted to go to the boats however we did not spend all that long there. The tour appears cheap but you are consistently taken to places where they want you to buy things, food from vendors etc. so including tip it did not turn out to be all that cheap for the day. Some of the stops are pointless eg. Freda museum where they stop for 10 minutes to look at the outside of the museum.

Beautiful sites; but we knew nothing. - We specifically requested an English speaker. We followed the prompt accordingly to get one. However, we we arrived, we were told there were no additional seats on the English speaking van. We then were told, we would meet with the English group at each stop. However, the vans didn’t stay together, so once we got to a spot, the English group has completed that portion of the tour. We didn’t expect the guide to be proficient and would have been ok with moderate English, but our guide knew none. We spent 8 hours with a guide who knew no English. If we had known this beforehand we would have cancelled the trip and possibly booked on a day where there was an English interpreter available.

What you bought was not what you got - Well ... no pick up at hotel despite booking with the pick up point (had to pay extra for taxi to meet up point). Change of itinerary, starting at Coyocan (half an hour despite time stated) and included Azteca Stadium. Only 1 hour at Xochimilco despite purchases itinerary. Believe this is a booker (Vuela Viajero) who farms you out to actual operators. Don't trust this middleman.
