The site is home to remnants of mural art, sacred edifices, legacies of a grand, ancient, multicultural city and evidences the significance of human offerings to the deities to uphold the delicate equilibrium of the components of our world and persist our existence. Your journey initiates in Tlatelolco, accompanied by a succinct overview of the three primary eras of Mexican annals. Subsequently, journey through Teotihuacán, heralded as “the locale where the deities were birthed”. The tour culminates with a lunch meal at a nearby eatery serving authentic Mexican cuisines. Excellent for families with teens - We took this tour with our 14 yo and 11 yo and it was perfect. Our van arrived on time. Our tour guide was excellent. The lunch was good with lots of choices. There was quite a bit of walking and stair climbing so it may be less suitable for families with small children. Can’t recommend it more!

Very full and complete guided tour of three top Mexico City cultural and historic sites - Guide was a local born in Mexico City which really helps in relating today's culture with the historical culture. His English was very adequate and he often conferred with the driver. Having both a driver and a guide is essential to making us happy as we both typically ply our guides with a great many questions to draw out details or cover additional subjects. Guide had a backpack of additional materials to show us as we toured. Tour included a surprise bonus of silver and obsidian carving along with Mezcal tastings. Lunch was very local and quite tasty.

So worth a private tour for a day of archeology and culture - Sergio, our guide, and Roberto, our driver, picked us up at our Condesa hotel bright and early. Roberto capably navigated the busy morning traffic while Sergio began to teach us about the sites we would visit with enthusiasm and clarity. Because this was a private tour, we could hear and understand everything and ask as many questions as we wanted about literally everything we saw along the way. It is so worth it to splurge on such a major experience as the Teotihuacan pyramids and other archeological sites. Every stop revealed amazing treasures -- from pyramids to frescoes to the Guadalupe basilica to nopal cultivation and the importance of agave for its many purposes. Even the silver smiths at the artisanal market are a treasure - beautiful detailed work--art. Because it was a private tour, Sergio was able to gear it to our speed - I am 73 :) - and we never felt rushed. He took time and care to curate and educate. We ate a wonderful lunch and had time to shop for quality souvenirs. On our ride home, it was a joy to simply talk with Sergio and Roberto. That in itself will be a treasured memory, a chance to share ideas, ask and answer questions and grow. It is wonderful to visit historic sites, but even better to get to know people today. That is the true joy and value of travel.

Pyramids are great but Shrine of Guadalupe is not to be missed! - Five friends had a fantastic private tour with Bruno, our exceptionally knowledgeable guide for the day. After a quick visit to Tlatelolco, an excavated Aztec zone in the city, we asked to go to the Shrine of Guadalupe before Teotihuacan and we are so glad we did. We arrived just as a mass was starting in the new, absolutely stunning National Basilica. Because we were on a private tour, we were able to stay as long as we liked, going by the sacred shroud as many times as we wanted, shopping for souvenirs and getting them blessed by the priest, seeing the old basilica and climbing the hill to the site where Juan Diego received the vision (DO NOT MISS THIS). We then headed to Teotihuacan. My expectations were low but they were greatly exceeded! As I walked toward the Pyramid of the Sun I thought, OK, but then the expanse of the excavated city suddenly appeared. It is very impressive.

Highly recommend! - Great experience. Roberto was an awesome guide. Would absolutely recommend him; he is super knowledgeable and and able to go at our pace, speeding up or slowing down as needed. Good sense of humor, clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge. Our driver Mr. Luis also excellent, felt very safe and comfortable.

Good but not worth money. - It was not clear from description that it is private your. Guide was good but difficult to understand sometimes. I would have taken a regular bus tour which was 1/4 cost and May be slightly better Guide. Car and drivers were descent Made a customary stop at restaurant which was attached to high priced shop.
