Upon arrival in San Miguel de Allende, a guided tour lasting an hour and a half will introduce you to the city’s main attractions, including the iconic parish of San Miguel Arcángel, the garden, Chapel of Jimmy Ray, the American Hispanic Academy, the Temple of San Francisco, Casa de Allende, and the Civic Plaza. We’ll explore the Handicraft Market, where you can purchase traditional crafts, primarily made from papier-mâché, metals, and blown glass.

- Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel - This 17th-century neo-Gothic church is renowned for its towering pink spires and magnificent ornate sanctuary.
- Ignacio Allende House (Casa de Ignacio Allende) - This is the birthplace and childhood home of Ignacio Allende, a prominent hero of Mexico’s Independence. In late 1810, the viceregal government seized the house; months earlier, the first insurgent army had departed from here for its initial formal battle.
- Church of San Francisco (Iglesia de San Francisco) - Determining the architectural style of the Church of San Francisco is quite challenging. Some experts describe its facade as Baroque, others as pure Churrigueresque, some as Rococo, and others believe it combines all these styles. Regardless, the facade facing the small square of San Francisco is intricately carved and richly adorned.
- Plaza Cívica - Originally constructed in 1555, this square was once the hub of activity, serving as the market and gathering place. Today, the statue of Ignacio Allende takes center stage in the square.

While in Mexico City, seize the opportunity to explore one of Mexico’s leading colonial cities, named the best city worldwide in 2017. It’s vibrant streets, unique architecture and historical depth make it one of the globe’s most picturesque locations.
We set out in the morning. Along the journey, we’ll take in the scenic views of central Mexico.
Once we reach San Miguel de Allende, we will conduct a 90-minute guided tour of the city’s key attractions, including San Miguel Arcángel, the finest symbol of parish, the Municipal Garden, the Temple of San Francisco, Allende’s home, and the Civic Square.
We’ll stop by the Artisan’s Market, where you’ll have the chance to purchase traditional crafts.
Following the guided tour, you’ll have leisure time to wander through the streets independently. Take the opportunity to dine in renowned eateries or local markets. Perhaps you’d like to visit the lookout point and snap awe-inspiring photos of the city.
