Explore CDMX food scene the right way - One of the best tours in CDMX!!! While the highlight was the food/restaurants/ neighborhood we truly felt that our guide Viry really brought everything together. She was AWESOME! As a chef and local she was able to share the history of the area, origin of dishes, and provide proper context. She was fun, engaging and kept things lively. If you are a foodie, this tour is a must! Thank you so much Viry!!!! I suggest doing this early in your trip so that you have time to revisit some of the restaurants again.

Informative, delicious, and more than you can eat - did this food tour several years ago on short visit to CMDX. Just seeing opportunity to review now on my second trip here. Great company and conversation, plus learned so much about food and culture with our host. On my return trip, by happenstance ended up going back to eat in some of the same places… the best.

One of the best food tours, and I’ve done a few - This tour was really wonderful. 7 stops and with the choices provided, it’s great if you have an appetite. That said if you’re not that hungry, you can scale back and still experience all the main dishes. My tour was during a slow season so it was just me and my guide, Marcela. Marcela was an excellent hostess. The walks were pleasant. The tour was informative but not overwhelming. Enjoyed it so much, I’d do it again!

Lovely Polanco - This was my son’s first time CDMX. I thought a great intro to the city would be a food tour. And I was right. The tour through Polanco was beautiful, with lovely green spaces and terrific flood. Our guide, Marcela, was really sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.

Tasty & Informative tour! - Our tour with Viry was so great! Booking was incredibly easy after having to reschedule. The food and drinks at each stop were so tasty and we were full by the end. Viry was able to share a lot of information not only about the food/restaurants but also about Polanco which made exploring the neighborhood even better. We've already recommended the tour to friends and would book again with Mexican Food Tours and Viry!

Run to the Mexican Food Tours! - This food tour was amazing! The group was small (less than 10 people) plus our amazing guide Viry! We went to 7 stops which included dessert and a beverage. The places were authentic and very tasty! It kind of ruins the Mexican dining experience when I got home. I highly recommend this tour for families, solo travelers, couples, or friends. Viry also gave us a narrated tour on our walk about the city which was also great!

Excellent tour, very informative guide, loved the food and Polanco us super nice. - Super good food tour with our group of 12. The stops include a chicken enchilada with mole, tacos, ice cream, Mexican hot chocolate and more. Wonderful guide and others in the group were a pleasure to be with. Highly recommend; Polanco is a beautiful area of Mexico City.

Delicious designer fine guide: spectacular - Spectacular. I didn’t realize this is the richest neighborhood in Mexico City. Oops. Our guide was amazing with deep knowledge of food, its economics, production etc. It’s pricey for good, delicious and fascinating reasons: expertise is worth it.

Polanco food tour - This was an average tour. I think the new tour guide will benefit from some more experience. I felt the restaurants were a bit touristy and food just average. The guide several times mentioned where the better food was located. Not bad, but not the best.
