Great time on the boat! - Should know it is a bit of a distance out of Centro Mexico City. Also to bring extra tip money. But an incredible experience and super informative guide.

Great if you want to get totally wasted... - This tour is great if you want to get totally wasted. I was there to enjoy a boat ride and the experience however my group just wanted to drink as much alcohol as they could... The tacos are included in the tour, but only if you have played for the transport pack. You have to get an uber otherwise which was a complete joke. The food at the restaurant is good but being surrounded by completely drunk Americans made it very uncomfortable. If you don't want to get drunk, get a private boat directly at the boat place, its not much more expensive! The boat ride was really nice and the mariachi band was really cool but charge ¢300 per extra song.

Extremely disappointing and misleading tour – not worth the money - Although I travel frequently to different cities and countries around the world, this was my first time booking through Viator, based on the many recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. I booked this Party Trajinera Tour trusting that everything listed in the Viator description would be delivered exactly as advertised — but that was far from reality. The tour promised unlimited drinks, which was completely false. Upon arrival, we had to sit through a jewelry sales presentation before being allowed to have a drink (20 minutes). Despite being thirsty, our guide, Omar, told us to wait. When the drinks finally came, we found out that the entire boat only had two small 7oz beers per person and two bottles of mezcal. The description said margaritas were included, but instead, we were given very limited Palomas that ran out quickly. The tour also claimed to include Mariachi music, which turned out to be another misleading detail. In reality, you only get to hear one song. If you want more, you must pay 300 pesos per song or 3,000 pesos for a 30-minute session. And then there were the tacos, another false promise. At the end of the two-hour ride, the guide pulled out a small container with what he called “tacos,” but they were actually cold potato-filled flautas — poorly presented and honestly not appetizing at all. The truth is that both my group and I felt completely cheated by this tour. What was advertised for $49 per person was nowhere near what we received, especially knowing that the same experience locally costs about 80% less. I must say that although our guide Omar wasn’t the most enthusiastic and seemed distracted with his phone most of the time, I don’t blame him personally — he was simply following the instructions given by his employers. The real issue lies with the tour operator (Amigo Tours) and the way this package is sold on Viator. They charged our group a total of $490, and it’s clear that they profit from selling a product that’s nothing like what they promote online. I’m definitely losing trust in both Amigo Tours and Viator, as what they advertised was far from the reality we experienced. Hopefully, this review helps future travelers avoid the same disappointment.
