THIS TOUR IS SOOO WORTH THE MONEY. David gives the best tours in CDMX. - I was genuinely so blown away by how much I enjoyed this tour and how much I learned and retained. David (Pakalito) is an incredibly enthusiastic and entertaining guide. I learned so much about this history of Mexico and so many fascinating bits and pieces of different cultures. He really walks you through some of the most interesting and engaging parts of the museum, and has so much room for flexibility and customization. I cannot recommend doing this enough. We had a group of 3 friends and Pakalito was so involved and really tailored the experience for exactly what we wanted. I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better tour. Wish I had more time to do more of his tours on sites. Thanks David, you’re the man!

Highly recommended archeologist tour! - David, aka Pakalito, was an amazing tour guide and I would highly recommend him. He is very passionate about his work as an archeologist and it shows as he is guiding you through the galleries. He is well prepared to answer any questions you may have and has taken a lot of effort to prepare pictures, illustrations and historical documents to explain all of the things to explore within the museum. We absolutely could not have been more impressed with him and would hire him again on a return trip to CDMX.

Incredible tour guide with an amazing encyclopedia of knowledge! - Pakalito is an incredible wealth of knowledge os Mesoamerica and a three hour tour will only scratch the surface of this museum’s collection. He accommodated an afternoon tour which was perfect for my arrival into CDMX. I can’t wait to come back and use his services again in the future.

Best way to see the Museum of Anthropology! - It was wonderful to tour the museum of anthropology with an archeologist - David did a lot to explain the different cultures of Mesoamerica. It’s one thing to walk through a museum and get an idea of what you are seeing by reading the descriptions, but David points out the amazing things you would miss otherwise and helps you understand what you are looking at and how it plays a role in the history of Mexico. A wonderful experience for anyone who loves history.

Don't hesitate - this is the way to experience the museum! - Pakalito (David) was an outstanding guide at the National Anthropology Museum. His deep knowledge and infectious enthusiasm brought every exhibit to life and gave so much background context, making the experience not only informative but also genuinely fun. He struck the perfect balance between engaging someone like me—who doesn't have a great passion for such topics —and keeping my partner, who is highly interested in such things, completely captivated and entertained. There was not a single question that we threw at him that he didn't answer in entertaining detail and with added context from his iPad with photos and sketches. Without him, we would’ve missed so much of the meaning and context behind what we saw, particularly as much of the museum only bears Spanish signage. Pakalito truly elevated our visit and made it a highlight of our short visit. Highly recommend! If you are undecided - get off the fence; book this private tour, you won't regret it. Next time we visit CDMX, we will for sure book Pakalito for a private tour of the Teotihuacan pyramids.

We had an amazing... - We had an amazing experience on our tour of the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City, thanks to our incredible guide, Pakalito. The museum is vast and can feel overwhelming on your own, but with Pakalito’s expert guidance, it became one of the most engaging and insightful parts of our trip. What really stood out was the clarity of the tour—Pakalito has a real gift for explaining complex historical and cultural concepts in a way that’s both accessible and compelling. His storytelling ability brought ancient civilizations to life, and his background as an archaeologist added an extra layer of depth and authenticity to everything he shared. We especially appreciated the deep dive into the nerdy details—the kind of context and knowledge you just can’t get from signs or audio guides. It was a real treat to learn from someone so passionate, knowledgeable, and connected to the subject matter. Beyond the museum itself, Pakalito also gave us thoughtful suggestions for other things to explore in Mexico, which helped shape the rest of our time in the city. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the museum—it is absolutely worth it!! One of the best experiences of our trip!!
