Perhaps you’re familiar with renowned neighborhoods like Roma, Condesa and Centro Historico. Nonetheless, our tour outlines two historic, less-known colonias: Santa Maria la Ribera and San Rafael. We’ll offer commentary on historic happenings, local lifestyle and much more as we discover these areas.
We initiate our journey with a warm refreshment and a preferred pastry, engaging and getting to know the group.
As we step into San Rafael, we sample some local cuisine at a beloved street food stall in the area, while understanding its history and architecture.
Our next stop is Santa Maria la Ribera where we check out the primary monument and pause for more gastronomical delights.
We get to sip on Pulque, a time-honored Mexican drink and ancestral specialty.
Our tour culminates as we relax with a cool michelada (alcoholic drink), conversing and composing our recommendations for the vast metropolis!
