Fabulous street food tasting experience!!! - Nico, our guide, was amazing! He took us to meet with street food vendors only a local would know about for extremely delicious culinary treats. The tour is well paced, exceptionally fun and tasty, and one of the most memorable experiences of my stay in Mexico City. Highly recommend as a must do, uniquely satisfying outing!

Yummy slice of Mexican culture and history - We had an amazing experience with Nico. He was incredibly smart and knowledgeable, not only about Mexican food and food history, but many aspects of Mexican culture, history and society. Informative, fun and delicious. Don’t forget to pace yourself as you eat!

Thoughtful tour - Clara was a fantastic guide! I felt like I was walking the city with a longtime friend. Her culinary background added to the thoughtful experience. She explained everything and more and always checked to see if I was ok trying certain foods. She also talked about Mexican cuisine in general. The tour was a wonderful introduction to Mexican culture and cuisine. If you love the intersection between food and culture, this is the tour for you.

Worth every penny! - We absolutely loved this tour. Tried so many unique things - including a lot of historical background about the ingredients and evolution of the dishes we had. You will walk away more than full! Our guide was also able to easily accommodate both gluten-free and vegetarian.

Nico led a great tour. - Every stop had great food that I never would have tried on my own. My 14 year old daughter ate things she never would have. Nico gave great insight on the neighborhoods, the food, and some Mexican history. Highly recommend.

Amazing street food tour around Mexico City - We really enjoyed our food walk with our guide, Nico. He showed us a lot of amazing and different street food places. He was also very good at explaining the history behind the food we ate.

Good overview and variety of street food - We (only two of us on this tour) visited several street food stalls and carts and also went inside a Mercado. Clara was a wonderful guide and provided an excellent overview of the food and answered all of our questions. I have a lactose intolerance, and she accommodated my needs. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well due to altitude sickness and dehydration, so our tour was modified so that we could skip the last few stops and settle in at a locally-sourced chocolate bar/cafe. I'm rating this tour 4 out of 5 stars because the price per person seems a bit high for the small portion sizes (tastes and halves) of food per person. The fresh squeezed juice bar was a highlight for me. It seemed that Mexico City street food is overall very heavy and greasy. My husband really liked the food and he can eat anything.

Lotsa food, just wish more flavourful . But wow that final chocolate! - Portions were great ! But Honestly I wasn’t blown away by the taste quality of Mex City street food (have had better in other cities) , and found the flavours of the dishes served from the various street carts to be just average. The food at the final spot : a farm to table Choclatiera , where we sampled an incredible hot chocolate served nice n cold for the hot day and chocolate mousse dessert to die for! YUM!
