Detailed and enthusiastic - 5 stars
Our Mexico City bike tour was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Juan, was truly outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, passionate, and shared so many interesting facts about the city's history and culture. He kept us entertained and safe the entire time. The pace was perfect, and we got to see so many amazing sights we would have missed otherwise. Thank you, Juan, for a wonderful afternoon. We can't wait to book another tour with you the next time we are in Mexico City!

Biking, history & Tacos! - Loved this tour! Antonio was easy to communicate with before the tour. We were just two couples biking with Juan - it was such a treat getting to know them! Juan started us off with the history of Tenochtitlan in Lake Texcoco and there was lots more. We biked lots in Chapultepec park, the gondola ride offered a great views of the city. Tacos Don Juan were so dee-licious! And biked so many Colonias in between. Great tour to experience CDMX. We recommend it to anyone visiting the city! Thanks Antonio & Juan.

Fantastic tour! - This was my second time back to Mexico City and my second time taking this tour! It was one of the most memorable things from my first trip so I knew when I went back with my best friend that I wanted her to experience it as well. We were the only two people riding with Juan. We got an amazing overview of the city’s history and culture, with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. The degustation at the chocolate museum was better than I remembered! Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Excellent trip. Book it now! - The tour was brilliant. Antonio looked after us so well. The info provided was easy to take in and we felt really safe cycling round Mexico City. My teens (14 & 17) loved it too and said it was one of the highlights of our three week trip! The trip on the cable car was also great as part of the trip and the tacos topped it off :)

Good but caveats... - We had fun except that our 7 year old couldn't actually participate. There were only 2 types of bikes. It says 7y is ok, but he could not reach the handle bars, way bigger than his bike at home. So he & his dad spent the entire 4hr tour riding in car with other guide, stopped at a play ground, waited for us. Shame! Didn't get a refund.
Note: goes to famous taco stand, in case you don't want to go twice- some had that experience.
The tour started out as i expected- bike in park, some historic lesson. But then was surprised we went on a 2 way cable car ride!? Then more biking, including in streets only some of which had bike lane (in case that bothers you, or for kids). Ate around 3p.

Multimodal fun through the city - Antonio and his son Camilo provided a fun, high engagement multi modal day of biking, cable car overlooking the city, and tacos at a local joint in Condesa. Would suggest doing on a Sunday when the Reforma is partially closed off to traffic as the route can then include a fun portion devoid of any car traffic.
Antonio’s background as a landscape architect and professor lends an interesting lens to view the city and urban planning.

Not to be missed - We booked this tour for the first day of our stay in Mexico City and it didn’t disappoint. Antonio and Juan were phenomenal and had so much to share about the city. It was a highlight of our trip!

Fun and informative ride in Chapultepec Park - We met Antonio about a 15 minute walk from our hotel, hoped on well-maintained bikes, and leisurely rode through Chapultepec Park and a few Mexico City neighborhoods.
Antoni was friendly and very knowledgeable about Mexico's history. As we rode through the park and admired the many buildings and monuments, he walked us through Mexico's history, from the Aztecs to modern Mexico. We stopped at a chocolate museum and had a delicious lunch of Mexican food at an open marked.
Next time I come to Mexico City, I'll probably take the same tour and hope to get Antonio.

Ride like a local - Bikes are a great way to get around CDMX. Chapultepec park is so large that I don't think you can see much of it unless you are on a bike.
I enjoyed the tour, but here are things I wish I had thought of before:
1. Review using gears on a bike. I had not ridden anything other than a stationary bike for years and should have reviewed how to change gears using the levers on the handle bars since the route climbs a steep overpass right away.
2. Locals are very good at navigating the traffic in CDMX. I read a review that said they lost the guide a few times in crowded areas. I also experienced that because there were times that the guide rode into traffic that I was not comfortable entering, so we were separated while I waited for traffic gaps I was more comfortable with.
3. There are many people in CDMX who do not welcome people from other countries due to gentrification of the city. That was a persistent theme in the tour.

More of a long bike ride - Good: Tour guide was nice and we had a long ride through different spots in the city. Chocolate museum was a nice surprise.
Bad: We had 3 stops in which we actuallly discussed the history of the places we were at. Went through some streets and cut through traffic that was sketchy/scary, would have loved a helmet. Much more of a bike ride than a bike tour.
