Good way to see the city - If you want to see a good amount of the city (especially within a short amount of time) this is definitely a recommended tour. I had an overall good experience. Buses were on time (not minding the notorious traffic). Earphones were provided and you could select your choice of language for narration. I took the 2 day pass but was able to see all that I needed to see in the first day. That meant I started out at 9am and did not get off at any of the stops unless when I needed to change to another line. My last line was the one to the basilica and I agreed to finding my way back since the bus was not coming back as it was going to be past the end time. So 2 day pass recommended if you want to pace yourself, take occasional breaks and stop at desired locations for more exploration.

Impossible to find addresses for stops. We had to call Viator to get help finding the pickup point. - None, however, the employees were very nice and helpful. Prior to leaving, we were not provided a map with address of pick up locations.any of the headphone sockets did not work. Hard to see inside the bus from downstairs. Since there are mobility issues, going upstairs is not feasible so good views from downstairs is important.

Service can improve - It seems like a good option for tourism but they have areas of opportunity. The person who collected the tickets did not accept cards and kept the change money. Not all buses gave you an explanation of the monuments. They don't explain that you must present the ticket every time you board, so I don't understand why they give you a bracelet per person. They do not explain the use of hearing aids. They could improve these aspects and make it a truly unique experience for the tourist!

Long wait times. - Very difficult to navigate. Even if you book online you make a long line to get a ticket and bracelet. The routes are long and if up top be prepared to duck and take a hat.

Enjoyable but average. - People were friendly enough. There was no commentary provided through the headphone system which was not working. The commentary was only in Spanish which was fine for the tour itself but no indication given at the stops where you could transfer to the other tours. This was a disappointment as I had time. Be warned..the traffic is heavy even early so you need to take that into account.

Very Bumpy Ride - The hop-on-off bus is a good way to see the city if you have plenty of time. Our biggest complaint is that the bus left us at the statue of Independence and told us the bus was done for the evening! We still had a long way Zocalo to get back to our hotel!! We along with dozens of other people were just left there with no other transportation! It would be helpful if there was something printed some where that specifically stated when the bus service ends!!! It would also be helpful if there were maps in various languages! And also clearly indicate how you transfer from one line to the next. I would have loved to have transferred from the red line to the Planco line versus having to go through the Coyocan line.

Won’t make this mistake twice b - Miserable ride in noisy and heavy traffic. A few miles took hours. The buses pick up every 30 minutes and the top is scalding hot but the bottom portion stifling and you cannot see anything. If you like driving around a hot ,dirty , noisy city in honking traffic and sirens. You’ll love it. Also, why they put a wrist band on is even a mystery to their employees since they want your paper receipt. It’s a lot faster to walk.

Pretty much ripped off - We bought a ticket for 2 days. Yesterday there was no problem. However, we had to take the bracelet off last night for another event. This morning we showed our ticket and explained about the wristband - we were let on the bus. On the way back from the basilica the bus driver didn't want to take us anymore. After a lot of asking, he took us to the Zogala where we tried to sort things out again. No chance - pay again despite having a valid ticket! I requested a phone number to speak to a manager, but the number I was given was not available. I've been traveling around Mexico for eight weeks and today was the first time we were ripped off. It's better to take Capital Bus - same lines, same price, buses are less full and maybe you won't get screwed there.

Use at your own risk- signage on bus is “optional” for drivers to change - The first 3 days worked as advertised, we were able to experience all 4 routes. On the 4th day we wanted to revisit Coyoacan. Having done this route before, we arrived at the Angel de Independcia to transfer to the Green/“Sur,”/Coyoacan route around 10 AM. We asked the female agent when the next bus to Coyoacan would be and she said about 45 minutes. No problem. I can speak enough Spanish to get by. We watched several “red”/historical buses come and go while waiting for the “green/Sur” line. As we are waiting 2 other Spanish speaking couples arrive and each asked her the same question and she would tell them it was coming. We were all standing by the metal bench, so it was easy to hear. Just as it was close to our initial 45 minutes, a third couple came up and asked her the same thing and she said it would be there shortly. We all kept our eyes on the buses coming in and they were all marked “red/historico.” Finally someone asked when the bus was going to get there and she said oh “it came 2 buses ago.” The 3 other couples and myself said we read all of the bus signs and NONE of them said “green/“Sur.” She said sometimes the bus drivers don’t change the signs….. How were we supposed to know. I told her that 2 days prior the sign said “Sur.” One of the couples asked why she didn’t tell us as we ALL told her we were going to Coyoacan. We asked when the next bus was and was told we would have to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes and that we should ask every driver what their route is because they don’t always change the sign. She was too engrossed in her cell phone than taking care of customers. We ended up taking an Uber, and quite honestly, was very inexpensive. The bus drivers do NOT speak any English. There was usually another employee on board who spoke SOME English. Keep in mind that their Ap does NOT show where the bus is, nor does clicking on a destination work either as ALL stops for ALL lines say “Imminent” for arrival. Ona few occasions the bus would stop, the other employee would get off and stand in a Taco line and get their food. Drive. Block or 2 and stop again for again for drinks someplace else! WTF??? Some of the routes, namely the Basicilla one runs every hour and a half. On this route the driver said he had to stop to go to the bathroom. We sat 15 minutes on the bus. Watched him go to the bathroom /WC and then walk down the street. 15 minutes later he walks back with a bag of chicharones and. Drink. With such limited time on the tours, is this really acceptable? On the bus itself, the audio is in Spanish on the speakers played very loudly. All foreigners trying to listen on our audio channels have a hard time as the volume does not go up enough to drown out the speakers Would we recommend them- NO If you are going to do it, follow other people’s advice and do red route only, as drivers have the option of changing their signs or not Next time, we are just going to Uber again, or find another service. Save your money.

Horrible Experience - DON’T DO IT. I’TS A FRAUD / SCAM. They advertise that the bus passes every 25-45 minutes (depending on the route). We waited over 2 hours several times without the bus passing by. We’d call customer service and they’d say “sorry the bus just passed by your stop 15 minutes ago, it’ll come by again in an hour”. We had been waiting at that stop for over an hour with numerous other people. Additionally, they try to take advantage of tourists. They give you a wrist band. However, at every pickup they ask you for your payment receipt as well. So the wrist band is useless and they are hoping you lose your ticket or throw it away to charge you again. Lastly, the service stops at 7 sharp. Meaning, wherever the bus is at exactly 7, they’ll stop and make you get off. Please don’t waste your money. Every single person that we talked to said they regretted buying this bus.
