Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan - We will begin our journey at Mexico City visiting the Square of the three cultures, where the past and the present mix; continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacan, to admire the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the citadel and the avenue of the dead. We will also visit an arts & crafts center.
Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe - We return to Mexico City to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America.

We will begin our journey at Mexico City visiting the Square of the three cultures, continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacan, to admire the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. We return to Mexico City to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Great history and great bilingual tour guides - Pyramids: the pryamids was by far the best experience. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate on Mexican history. We learned a great deal. Mexitours, who organized everything, was professional and responsive to our needs. We purchased the plan that included lunch which we felt was a good idea.
Taxco and Cuernavaca: our tour guide was exceptional, especially as he transitioned from Spanish to English. He was full of enthusiasm and a great story teller. We enjoyed seeing parts of Mexico that we would not see on our own and the churches and points of interest were very informative and beautiful. However, the one thing that we found off putting were the aggressive sales tactics. The tour included education on silver mining. The people conducting the “training” would not let us shop in peace. We were constantly being pressured to buy and the prices that were supposed to be in Mexican currency conveniently charged to U.S. dollars. Our family felt like walking targets for getting ripped off. Because of this negative experience, I felt the need to downgrade my rating to four stars instead of five.
