Book it! - So glad we did this in our trip to Mexico City. Our tour guide was punctual and made sure we were having fun. Since we got lucky and had the tour guide to ourselves, we got to control the trip a little bit more. 10/10 recommend

Tolantongo day trip - We had an awesome experience. The hot springs lived up to the hype and more but he best part of the trip was our tour guide Daniel, and driver Fernando. They looked out for us every step of the way, helping in local shops and providing great suggestions for food along the way. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting Mexico City!

Unmatched experience - Excellent option to go with family, friends, partner, etc. Enjoy Nature⛰️🏞 and make new friends 🫂 in a small group is the most exciting thing. Both the driver and the tour guide, were excellent all the time, attentive and giving recommendations, thank you. 100% recommended

Tolantongo, amazing beauty - Although Tolantongo is a very crowded place, and a 4 hrs drive from Mexico City is needed to reach it, the trip is really worth. The beautifulness of nature is stunning.

Full day of fun - This was so much more than we expected. Our guide was there to ensure we all had the best day possible. There is an optional zip line ($15) that’s totally worth it!

Grutas Tolantongo Tour was incredible! - The tour was amazing! Our guide, Ana, was very knowledgeable about the history of the grutas, and the towns we passed through along the way there/back. At the grutas, she took us to the pools, the cave/waterfall, and the river, and gave us plenty of time at each stop. Our favorite was the cave/waterfall- she took us deep into the cave which was an incredible adventure. The driver, Miguel, was also great- patient, kind, and a very safe driver. One of the best days we’ve had on our trip, highly recommend Ana and this tour!

Very long day - The caves, falls, and pools are very cool. But driving 4+ hrs to get there and 5+ back makes me wish we had done something else. You need to be able to climb 5 flights of stairs quite easily to handle the rigorous of the terrain and steps. My 3 boys enjoyed it but again the drive back, getting hung up by demonstrators and a town festival half way back made this an arduous journey. The trip includes a towel, which is a 8" x 10" face towel, so bring your own towel, and includes "toilet paper". All the bathrooms where they provide toilet paper on the way in give you an equivalent of about 4 kleenex. So if you happened to feast on the enchilada special the day before, it would be wise to throw a roll of toilet paper in your backpack. Water temp was a luke warm in pools and quite hot, steamy in caves. But seeing the mass of water pouring thru the caves is impressive. Water shoes and a waterproof phone/money case to keep on you are a must but both sold on way to park. Provided lunch was mediocre by US standards. Don't eat salad anywhere.

Terrible service , cancelled trip hours before departure , middle of the night. - Cancelled our trip. We found out as we woke up at 5am for the trip because they had only cancelled it at 2am. I’m sure they knew way before that the trip was not going to meet the total head count requirements
