Fantastic - Fantastic large caves putside of Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. Got there with GF by rental car. At the entrance is a parking lot with some vendors. You have to pay some extra for parking. Recommend having fresh coconut milk from coconut sold by a vendor there. Cheap (cash only), very refreshing. Some vendors take credit card. Only water permitted in the caves. Thr caves are breathtaking. My GF suffers from claustrophobia but did not have a problem here as the caves are massive. You go in with a group from the entrance with a guide. If you know a bit of cave terminology, a bit of Spanish, a bit of christian iconography, you will understand most of what the guide says (ours only spoke in Spanish). You can later walk around on your own and exit on your own. Guide points out some unusual cave formations highlighted by a guide control ligting system that you would otherwise miss. Recommend bringing a good flash light if you want to exit at your own pace. All the walking is on a well maintained designated path. Well worth the visit. Located 20-30 minutes from Taxco where we stayed for a couple of nights.
