- Altar de la Santa Muerte Hortelanos - The most emblematic altar of the neighborhood known internationally and with millions of followers, with documentaries and specials on Netflix explore this cult
- Micheladas Lupillo - After exploring the neighborhood we are going to enjoy a delicious cold and refreshing drink. attended by the owner and where you can try the authentic Michelada Tepiteña

Our journey begins towards a prime street of the neighborhood to introduce you to Tepito. Firstly, we will navigate you through the myriad stalls of one of the largest and most intricate street markets in Latin America, boasting more than 15,000 stalls. We will then bring you to the renowned and stunning sports complex ‘El Maraca’ and central church, ‘San Francisco de Asís’, nestled in the core of Tepito.
In the continuation of our journey, we will guide you through streets only us locals are privy to, offering you a unique viewpoint of the different residential zones.

Fantastic tour - Tepito was very interesting, Martin and Gaby took me through the markets and residential areas explaining along the way about the good and bad things that happened there. I felt safe and had no issues at all, it was the highlight of my trip to Mexico City.

Amazing Experience Exploring Tepito - First, safety is not an issue...no more or less than any other city. Gaby is a life long resident who expertly guided us to cool spots and shared her story as well as the history of Tepito. We had great food, visited tons of shops. Music was everywhere, had delicious drinks, saw art, murals, the stadium and visited some of the neighborhood housing projects. I saw nothing but hardworking and happy people. Honestly, I found the Shrine to Santa Muerte a little creepy but it's one of those things you have to experience. Highly recommended!!!

Don't miss it!! - Such an enriching experience for someone like me that has lived in CDMX for 1.5yrs. Gaby and Martin are super friendly and will walk you through the maze that is Tepito, making you feel comfortable and encouraging your curiosity through tales and personal anecdotes. Gaby is native to the area so she not only knows it like the back of her hand, but she knows a lot of the locals too. I am also vegetarian so Gaby made sure I got to sample some of the local dishes.

Great Day - Fantastic tour of an area that you would not normally get to see. The team takes you inside of the massive shopping market and walks you through this interesting neighborhood. This is not a neighborhood you would not want to take on alone and the team made me feel very safe. Bourdain came here before you and you will the chance to eat where he ate. Note that they will also tailor a tour to just the market if you are here for shopping - just reach out to scope it.

Great experience highly recommended - We did this tour privately with Gaby (the owner) since we did not want to be with everyone else, we wanted to go where we wanted to go and visit without rushing to buy things or sharing where other tourists wanted to go. Gaby is very polite, well known in the barrio and a great person to deal with. I have traveled extensively to 45 countries and I can happily recommend this tour as a safe, well priced and full of history tour. Gaby met us at the letters of the barrio, walked us thru the whole experience qnd at the end she took us to the same place where it started, we could not get uber because they do not want to pick you up there so i got 2 cancelled but we crossed the street and got a bus. Gaby kept in touch via text until we got to the hotel safely. This is a NUST when in CDMX, Thank you Gaby, it wont be the last time you see us there.

Wonderful and Vibrant Tour - What an incredible day and the highlight of our weekend in CDMX. Gaby and Martin were wonderful guides! Gaby grew up in the neighborhood and we felt like welcomed guests as we explored the market, art gallery and landmarks. Every vendor, restaurant, food stall we interacted with were beyond friedly and we thoroughly enjoyed the all delicious food. We loved how flexible they were with the tour and allowed us to explore things we saw that interested us; from shopping for specific items or our curiosities of the culture and energy of the area. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience a vibrant place and to leave your preconceptions behind. - Nadia & Eric

THIS IS A MUST TOUR 👍 - We wanted to explore a different area and get off the grid. This is definitely that. It gives you a proper taste of Mexcio City - a city within a city. Ignore any of the negative propaganda in the media or Google. It’s completely safe. Our guide Gabby is from Tepito and her family are very well known and respected. I’ve been on many tours in many countries but this is one of the most authentic tours I’ve ever been on. Martin speaks multiple languages and is very professional. Lastly, the shopping is absolutely insane. Can’t recommend this enough. We will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
