Following that, we’ll dive into hands-on cooking lessons and tasting sessions, complete with unlimited servings of refreshing Horchata (a traditional rice beverage). Once we’ve crafted our own TORTILLAS, we’ll collaboratively cook and eat Guacamole, Beans, and Brisket to fill our BURRITOS (you can eat as many as you wish)! To top it all off, you’ll get to bring home fresh Tortillas, a true treat for our participants.

The adventure commences at a historic church nestled in the heart of Tacuba. Just a short walk away lies the Tacuba Market where we’ll shop for our fresh ingredients.

We’ll be preparing Mexican Flour Tortillas, northern style, from scratch, while also cooking Beans, Brisket, and Guacamole Salsa for our Burrito fillings.

The package includes limitless Horchata water. At the conclusion of our session, you’ll have Fresh Tortillas and recipe ideas to bring back home.

You’ll ACQUIRE new culinary techniques interspersed with touches of Mexican history and culture.

Just book it!!! - We LOVED our experience with Natalia. What began as a whim on our last day turned into one of our favorite experiences in Mexico City. My husband, teenage daughter, and me were lucky enough to have the experience to ourselves. The trip to the market was fun and informative; we enjoyed being immersed in the culture of the neighborhood. Returning to and cooking in Natalia’s charming kitchen was a real joy. She is so personable and easygoing. We learned so much about simple Mexican cooking and made an exquisite meal! If you are thinking about booking- don’t hesitate- you will not regret it!

Amazing experience - I highly recommend this course! First, we went to a very local market where we tasted specialities and picked ripe avocados, fresh meat and delicious vegetables for our upcoming meal. This in itself was a very enriching and authentic experience. Natalia is such a nice person, and can answer any questions you might have and tell about the Mexican traditions and cuisine. After the market, we went to Natalia’s super charming apartment to make the burritos. The making of the burritos was very enlightening and teachable, and Natalia send us all the recipes so we are fully prepared for a burrito-night back home. I have to say, the sauce and the guacamole were eminent, and had such good taste. This was one of the best experiences I have had in Mexico City!

Best thing in CDMX - This is the authentic experience you talk about doing before going to Mexico, but sometimes seem hard to find. Worth every penny. Knowledgeable, fun and perfect English. 10/10.

Fantastic experience for true foodies! - This is one of the best cooking classes I’ve ever done. Natalia is a wonderful amazing person and a fabulous chef! We first went to the market, where she taught us how to pick the best ingredients for the burrito — something I’ve never done in any cooking class. So this was super nice! During the class, we learned how to make our own tortilla for the burrito, made an authentic guacamole, a super amazing coriander sauce, and how to roll a burrito. It was all delicious, to say the least. I highly highly recommend!

YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST!!! - This was such an amazing experience!!!! Natalia met us at the church which was easy to navigate to & find her. We then walked to the market which was an experience all within itself. I enjoyed seeing all the fresh options available. We then headed to the kitchen where it all went down. We had a small group which gave us a lot of hands on opportunities. Each step of the way was so exciting. The freshness & quality of the food was like nothing else I have yet to experience. AND the best part is I can take my skills & apply them to dinners when I get home. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing experience.

Fresh Mexican Cuisine class 🤤 - It was excellent! We were lucky enough to have the tour for ourselves and we had an awesome time. We got to visit the local market and buy fresh ingredients. She welcomed us to her home and made THE best brisket burritos with fresh tortillas, refrito and guacamole made by us. Also gave us orchata and snacks. She edited the recipe for our dietary restrictions so I definitely recommend this tour (and re take it if I get the chance)!

Clear and Inviting - A week has passed since my cooking class, and I'm still dreaming about the burritos we made with Chef Natalia. She was warm and inviting to host us in her beautiful home, and helped us navigate the Mexico city market with ease. Chef Natalia's teaching style is both clear and distinct. She worked side-by-side with us in the kitchen to show us the correct methods for preparing the dish, and elaborated on ways we could personalize and adapt the method to our own cooking backgrounds and ingredients available back home. I left her kitchen feeling confident that I could recreate the burrito we made together with the added bonus of learning some recipes just by talking to her and learning more about her cooking background. I would come back to Mexico City just so I could take all of her classes and continue to learn from her. Thank you so much for hosting us Chef Natalie. I hope to see you again.
