NOT GOOD for English speaking passengers. - We have done "Hop on Hop off" buses in at least a few cities, including Barcelona, Spain. For this service there were a few things that we expected but did not get. Our thought is that many, if not most, of the clients to ride these buses are tourists who are in unfamiliar territory, and likely are not fluent in the local language nor can read the signs. 1) We were disappointed in the bus ride, which did not include any English language information about the sites. We were sitting inside the bus and the information did not play in there at all (in any language). 2) We expected there to be headphones, where we select what language we need to hear and for there to be a frequent bit of information about the sights we are going to on that route. This has always been the case on these tour buses. 3) Also, there were supposed to be 8 stops on our route and the bus only stopped at 3 stops and with our lack of English prompts, we did not know which stop we were at so we missed the one we had planned to visit. 4) The driver did not speak any English and continued to speak to us in Spanish as though we should know what he was saying. He was also just rude in general, we would say due to us not being able to understand him. 5) At the 3rd stop, he got out for a cigarette break which lasted 15-20 minutes. No wonder the ride takes longer than it should, and buses are often not on schedule
