- Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art - The Baroque castle of Rivoli is now home to an intriguing museum of contemporary art. Construction began in the 17th century, and it was later redesigned but left unfinished by Juvarra in the 18th century. It was ultimately transformed into a museum in the late 20th century by the minimalist Turin architect Andrea Bruno. The museum features rotating international exhibitions and a permanent collection of 20th-century Italian art. Visitors can explore the castle from Thursday to Sunday.
- Sacra di San Michele - The Sacra di San Michele is a formidable fortified abbey perched atop a rocky hill. To access the church, visitors must ascend 150 steps, passing 12th-century sculptures from the Porta dello Zodiaco, a magnificent Romanesque doorway adorned with zodiac signs. Inside, the left side features 16th-century frescoes depicting New Testament themes, while the right side illustrates the church’s founding. Some parts of the abbey are only open on weekends, and during busy times, visits may be limited to hour-long tours. Weather permitting, the views from the surrounding walls and terraces are stunning. If snow makes access to the Sacra di San Michele impossible, the tour guide will propose an alternative itinerary.
