We're 50 minutes from Palermo. The meeting point is near the exit/entrance of the highway in Balestrate.
We can Pick you up ( Is an extra service)or take the bus from Palermo to Alcamo; from Alcamo, it's just a 15-minute car ride to our place.

Excellent olive grove tour! - The tour was amazing! Francesco was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the process and production of high quality olive oil, wine and balsamic vinegar. We started in the olive groves, where some of the trees were 10-100 years old. He explained how the olives were harvested, processed and made into extra virgin olive oil. The green olives make the highest quality olive oil with the highest concentration of polyphenols, which is what makes it a very healthy fat. We ended with a lunch and wine where we tasted the oil, balsamic vinegar and wine. We learned how you can taste the oil to determine its quality. I would highly recommend this tour!

We highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again! - Our Essensily Olive Grove Tour with olive oil and wine tasting was fantastic! Francesco showed us around his family’s beautiful olive grove and then took us to his grandparent’s house by the beach for a tasting of olive oil, food, and wine. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and his family was so welcoming!
The olive oil is the best we've ever tried, and we even purchased some to be shipped home! Francesco’s passion for reimagining Italian agriculture was heartwarming. The tour felt like visiting a relative, offering a deep understanding of small olive oil producers in Sicily. We highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again!

Must do tour! - Spending time with the family was a once in a lifetime experience. Very friendly and kind to give us some Sicilian recipes. Leaning about the process of olive oil, wine making, and basalmic vinegar was very educational. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Completely successful evening - Absolute heart recommendation: We had a wonderful evening - from walking through the olive trees and lots of interesting information to tasting together and great snacks it was an all-round successful experience.
Francesco and his family are very welcoming and we felt very comfortable
The olive oil and the vinegar are super delicious and even with the wine not a droplet remained in the bottle

Wonderful authentic experience - Lovely early evening stroll through the olive trees and lots of information from our charming guide and host Francesco. Then onto olive oil and wine tasting over a delicious homemade variety of food. Was a wonderful, unique and authentic time and the wines and olive oil were fantastic. Highly recommend .

Simply Amazing - A great afternoon - Francesco showed us around his family’s olive grove then brought us down to the beach to his grandfathers house for a tasting of olive oil, food, and two wines. He is very knowledgeable and his family was so welcoming. The olive oil is the best we have ever tried! The wine and food pairing made for an excellent & warm experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Highlight of our trip - This excursion was the highlight of our trip. Francesco and his family are so welcoming, kind and really passionate and knowledgeable about their produce. We learnt a lot and made great memories. I would definitely recommend booking this experience as part of your trip!

Incredible tour - We spent a long weekend in Trapani and this tour was on our last afternoon, and it was such an amazing way to end our trip! It really brought together everything we had both loved about Sicily, the beautiful landscape with the olive trees, incredible food and wine and wonderful people! We both learnt a lot about growing olives and the process of creating EVOO, as well as the wine they grow! We have come away with some amazing wines and extra virgin olive oil, and it truly feels you can taste the love and care that has gone into these products! Can’t recommend it highly enough

Five Star Experience with an authentic Sicilian Family - This was a super authentic and professional experience! We first started with a visit of the olive plantage of the family where Francesco explained us everything about the whole olive oil process, farming and harvesting of olive trees etc. Afterwards we moved to the house of the family in Balestrate where his lovely parents and his wife were already waiting for us with the olive oil and wine tasting. Here we learned all about tasting the olive oil together with tasting the white and red wine which is also produced by the family. Super delicious food and a more than friendly visit at the family‘s home. It was also my girlfriend’s birthday and Francesco’s family prepared even a small surprise for her! We are looking forward to enjoy the olive oil and wine at home while remembering the good time here at Sicily!

Amazing birthday experience - We did the Tour as a Birthday present. Francesco showed the Olive grove and explained all the process of making the oil. The tour was amazing, the views with the olive threes were breathtaking and the tasting at his grandparents house was just the cherry on top. Really good wine, food and olive oil! Super nice typical Italian family! We would definitely recommend it and will order wine and olive oil to have it shipped home.
