Piazza del Gesù Nuovo - We will taste 2 wines (Campania wines from local grapes), eat local bruschetta with Mozzarella, Prosciutto and vegetables. You’ll get to know wine tasting tips and etiquette. I will talk about ancient wine culture and history in Campania. We will pair local food with the wine.
We will play fun wine games and enrich your wine vocabulary, making you more self-confident next time you buy or taste wine.
We will discuss the wines of the day, and their history and will play “Myth or Truth” about 1000s of wine myths/truths we have heard.
We will evaluate the wine on a professional evaluation sheet created by WSET!
P.S. In case of a bigger group (min. 8 people) we will do the degustation and eat local pasta in a wonderful terrace with a breathtaking view of Vesuvio and the sea. (see the pictures)

Guided by a sommelier, you’ll explore local Italian vintages, their backstory, and etiquette around wine, participate in engaging wine-related games, and expand your lexicon. Thus, your future wine purchases will come with greater assurance in your selection.
We will match one of the wines with a local pasta dish, engaging in discussions about the relationships between wines and food. The wine will be judged using a professional grading sheet devised by WSET!
For larger gatherings (of at least 8 people), we organize the tasting and pasta meal on a splendid terrace overlooking the Vesuvius and the sea (see images).
Attendees at my events are often so sociable that festivities conclude with some dancing, copious picture-taking against the backdrop of Vesuvius and the ocean, and exchange of contacts to plan attendance at future events together!
