This tour is a must! - So glad we booked the tour as there’s so much to see and learn about. Without it, we would have just wandered around aimlessly! Max, our tour guide, was brilliant. Really informative, engaging and charming.

A Memorable Experience and Pleasant Tour. - Tour began on time at 0830 and ended a few minutes late at 1700. Everything was as mentioned in the tour description. The (Viator) tour guide was knowledgeable, clear in what was expected to be expected, and helpful. The Pompeii guide is assigned by the archaeological commission. Bus was in good condition, and air conditioned performed well. It is cooler at Vesuvius, and there is no guide; you just walk up (or try to at least. We added some photos to show the tour size at Pompeii and the bus stop where all hikes begin … you will see plenty of photos of the beauty and impression of the sites.

Excellent informative tour with engaging guides - This tour was well worth it! From the moment we arrived at the meet-up point to the final drop off, the guide—Andreas, driver, and Pompeii tour guide, Daniela, we’re excellent. Andreas managed everything with a cheerful spirit, clear English and kept everyone on schedule. Daniela, the tour guide at Pompeii, also spoke impeccable English and was an engaging historian and guide. The hike up to the crater of Mt Vesuvius is steep, and may not be the best choice for those who are elderly or incapacitated in any way. The park does hand out walking sticks to use en route, which Is also recommend using because the path is steep and slippery. This is not a critique; just a comment so that folks booking are aware. My mother, sister and I loved this day trip and would recommend to anyone traveling to Naples. Thank you all for a great day!

Vesuvius and Pompeii Tour - Experience was awesome exactly what we signed up for and was worth every dollar. Our tour guides were excellent

Good day trip covering two important attractions - Overall , had a great experience. We did not purchase lunch with the tour operator. They gave us enough time to have a lunch. There were 2- 3 restaurants near the entry. There was a guide who took us around Pompeii. Mt Vesuvius doesnt require a guide. It was do-able. Recommend this trip.

Pompei and Mt Vesuvio from Sorrento - Fabulous day out with Eugene and his extensive knowledge of the area. The left from Sorrento and was perfectly organized. Highly recommend it.

Fun day. Pompeii was interesting! - Took this tour from Sorrento. Meeting place is in town center. Easy walk to bus terminal. Pompeii tour was awesome. Our guide at the historical site did a great job of showing us how the city worked. Lunch was not bad for $17.00. Mt Vesuvius was about a 45 min ride to the drop off to begin the hike up. Make sure you wear shoes that have some grip and you don’t care that will get dirty. The hike is steep at times but gradual. We stopped when we needed to. View from the top is amazing. We had a clear day which helped. Total tour time from start to finish is 8.5 hours depending on traffic. Was a great day

Worth the money! - Well worth the trip to pompeii and mt Vesuvius with an amazing tour guide. Trip was well taken care of by our guides.

Stunning - Pompei was like visiting someone’s home when they are away on holiday except that they all fled in terror or died horribly. Guide was knowledgeable. Vesuvius was quite a climb from the bus stop. Not really suitable unless moderately fit. Crater impressive. Would have been good to locate Pompei from summit - bring binoculars, map, compass.
