Fab service! - What a trip! Obviously the palace and garden were stunning but I also need to say how amazing our transport was. Salvatore collected us (our own private taxi after expecting a minibus) in his beautifully clean and air conditioned taxi at just before the agreed time. He was so lovely and helpful, explained he did not have great english but it made no difference. Dropped us at a really easy place to reach the palace and was waiting for us at the agreed time for our return trip. He also dropped us back to our hotel at no extra cost to save us hanging around! He was fantastico!

Reggia di Caserta tour - This is one of the most beautiful castles I’ve seen. I highly recommend taking this tour. It’s a hidden gem in Campania.

A must visit from Naples - Reggia Caserta is an amazing place. The audio guide was clearly spoken and informative. The entrance stairs are amazing as are the rooms inside that we could visit. The Presepio (nativity) was wonderful. The gardens are immense but not very colourful. We only had 3 hours 15 minutes which was not long enough. I suggest Viator allow later departures do that allow more time in the garden.

Lovely way to spend a day! - Our driver Salvatore was wonderful, friendly and we felt safe! Our tickets were sent to WhatsApp which we were confused about. There aren't many signs or details about the palace in Italian or any other language. We didn't realize the theatre closed earlier than the rest of the museum so missed out on visiting it. It actually closed 10 minutes earlier than we were told at the information booth. I highly recommend getting on the shuttle to the back of the garden first, then do the theatre and finish in the apartment. Enjoy!

Disappointed - We paid for skip the line access and audio guide. Neither existed. It was very crowded. The parts of the palace we were allowed to see were amazing. There is a lot of wide open space in the courtyard that would be perfect for a cafe. The small snack bar was very crowded, with no place to sit. The employees at this facility were the rudest people in the entire country of Italy.

Details about trip were... - Details about trip were minimal and confusing. We received two different meeting points and were not told whether we were being met by a person, a van, or a bus. The "guide" was accessible only by WhatsApp, which was not made clear up front. A taxi driver with our photo finally found us after a lengthy delay. The trip was fine, but not knowing what to expect on the front end created a great deal of anxiousness for us. Much more detail about the arrangements should be provided!

Caserta Palace, amazing, but dissatisfied with Viator. - The most memorable part was that we overpaid for the whole experience. We thought our transport from Naples to Caserta was with other people also booked with Viator, but instead we paid for a private transfer which became very costly. If we were the only 2 people going to Caserta, Viator should have advised us that it was going to be a private transfer and that there was an option of getting a direct train to Caserta Palace from Naples with a 5 minute walk to the Palace. This would’ve reduced the price considerably and we would’ve appreciated Viator’s personalised response and help. This would’ve reflected consideration for what was best for us. We have used Viator many times, (although it appears that it doesn’t make a difference- and it should - based on past history of the returned customer). We were very disappointed. Thank you.

Too expensive - For what the guided tour cost, 40 euros per person, my wife and I thought the guide was exclusive to us. Instead we were in a group and the price did not even include the entrance fee to the Reggia.

Bad communication and ruined my vacation - I dreamed for months to visit the palace and the day before I'm supposed to go some Viator lady calls me up and then texts me to say it was canceled. I was devastated. I looked forward to this trip for months. My trip schedule didn't allow to reschedule. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I want my money back....immediately. I work in the hospitality business and Viator's care and concern for me was not there. I wonder how many people I come in contact with will hear my story. Plenty.

Overpriced, unnecessary difficult - The Palace was great, the Viator tour set up was terrible. The Naples representative spoke broken English and seemed upset when asked to repeat anything. The pick up.point was confusing although we managed. No one cold download the entry tickets, so.we couldn't get in. The Palace let us in with headsets even though we were told that we would have an English speaking guide. Anyone can hire a taxi and pay 28 euro for 2 tickets and save 125 euros for the same thing, there were no lines in May, even with a lot of school kids participating.
