Cassano d’Adda - In this little village you can find the Leoardo wheel, in milanese dialect “EL RUDUN”.
This wheel is useful to take the naviglio water to the street level. - Vaprio d’Adda - very nice view on the river. We can have a coffee break and have a short walk on the river shore.

Milan may not be situated near the ocean, but it certainly isn’t devoid of water! Join us on our bicycle journey along the Naviglio Martesana! This will give you a glimpse into how the Milano folks brought water from rural areas to the urban center. Who do you think spearheaded such tasks? None other than the brilliant Leonardo da Vinci! You will get to view some of his significant works from his time in Milan. Additionally, you will get to tour a settlement constructed by an affluent family for their employees to shorten the commute between home and work! Throughout the trip, you will be able to see the man-made Naviglio canal and behold the Adda river at the conclusion!
