My guide was very friendly and gave me lots of interesting information. Got back to my hotel wishing that I could do that tour again, which I will most certainly doing in the future. Highest Marks.

Worth doing - Great experience. The only issue was it started 45 mins after our start time. Still worth doing though. Good Italian guide who spoke excellent English!

Don’t be fooled - Positives: they provide jackets and helmets. Tour was very slow paced, you barely go over 15km/h. We thought the quads would be used to get closer to the crater, but you just go further from it, making it a worse experience than probably walking. Tempo probably depends on the group as well, but in general we could have probably covered more distance in the same amount of time by walking. You don’t get to see any craters, just the mountain from below, same view as driving up to the gathering point. You follow a paved road botheringly slowly, and when you get to the very light off-road section and anticipate a bit of excitement you’ll be let down by the 2km/h pace, even though the quads are capable of much more. They stop for the sunset in a random field with not much to see other than lava rocks and the last 5 minutes of the sunset because of the slow pace. They should have divided the tour into two groups, where one is for children, elderly and anxious people. And the other one for people that actually want to use quads for what they are made for and experience the craters at a closer hold. Don’t be fooled by the marketing photos, only resemblance you’ll experience is that you’re sitting on a quad. 130€ is a fair price if you actually get to experience what they promise and advertise, but we could have been without this experience and had a better time + saved some money. The “cave” shouldn’t be called a cave, it is maybe a 30m3 hole in the ground. Very underwhelming. Tour guides are ok, but that’s probably since most of them are stoned. The quads are how they make the majority of the money so the guides can be pushy when it comes to “recommending” to rent quads. We were promised that the quads was the best way to experience the volcano and that we were super lucky because there was an eruption going on. Our guide said we would be able to get a closer look at the action happening, but we experienced the contrary. Key points: - Probably exciting if you’ve never operated a motorized vehicle before - photos do not reflect the actual trip you’re getting - Due to the slow pace, you might miss the sunset - Underwhelming view, cave and quad-experience. - You don’t get close to any craters

We were extremely disappointed. The... -
We were extremely disappointed. The advert stated the duration was for 6hrs with 2.5hrs driving the quads. We were also told our guide spoke English. All were complete opposite. We were picked up late and only had 20mins to view the small crater. Were advised not to go to the top, which we wanted.
