Highlights

Meet us at Casa Manila Complex. It is a copy of an 1850 house, modeled after Spanish colonial architecture. Best to come at least 30 minutes before the tour as our Bambike guides will help you choose the perfect Bambike. There is a wide variety of Bambikes for different rider builds and each Bambike is unique! We will begin the briefing on how the Bambikes are made and the local community that it supports. We will then head out on Bambikes (bamboo bikes) through the major historical and cultural attractions within Intramuros! The sites we will visit includes the Fort Santiago, Plaza Roma, Puerta del Parian and many more. Our guides are very knowledgeable about Philippine history, cultures, stories, jokes! One of our Bambike ride highlights is an Intramuros wall ride! Filipino refreshments are available back at our HQ that will complement your educational workout. \n\nPoints of Interest\n\n- Bambike Ecotours Intramuros

Fun and enjoyable cycling tour of Intramuros - Great way to see the highlights of the Intramuros district of Manila. Our guide Jonathan kept us both well informed and entertained with his historical knowledge, local perspective and jokes. The tour was well organized and the cycling was an enjoyable way to move around on a hot day. The cold towel and ice cream were very welcome a the end of the tour.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - Awesome experience and phenomenal tour guide. Our guide was very professional and personable. He had vast historical knowledge and was able to provide a great experience then just posing for pictures at the sites. Of note, he was careful to advise and get consent from the tourists prior to entering the prison cells in Fort Santiago due to the enclosed space and graphic photographs. Great experience!

Fun and interesting bike tour. Take the extended tour! - Super interesting tour of Intramuros with the ease of riding a bike. Tour guide John was very knowledgable and pleasant. Ample time was given at each of the historic sites to look around, except the two historic churches. But after the tour you have plenty of time to go back and visit them on your own. My only suggestion would be a slightly longer tour that would include riding around some of the other streets with comments regarding the history of the area in general and more biking than just going from one spot to the next. Overall I’m super happy I did this tour. Spend a whole day in Intra-muros. Don’t miss the Casa Manila and Barbara’s for lunch. Thank you BamBike Tours.

A definite recommendation of the best way to tour Old Manilar! Best way to explore the sites! - What a great way to tour Old Manila! Steven, our guide, was amazingly knowledgeable and so funny! He kept us entertained as we pedaled from one site to another. As a single female, I was concerned about going alone, but no worries! I don't think this tour would have been as entertaining or engaging had we been in a vehicle. I definitely recommend it!

Fun, but no politics please - A very informative tour in a fun way to do it. Being on a bike was a refreshing experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but he was a little too political which I thought was inappropriate. He must have said “colonizer” at least 15 times in his tour. I felt he was sharing his hatred a little too much. He was also sharing his political thoughts on certain things he was showing us. So when if you get John, please remind him to keep his political views to himself.
