- Castelmola - Starting from the port of Messina it takes about 60 minutes to get to Castelmola. There we will stop for about 1 hour where you can admire splendid views, typical local shops, the cathedral with the panorama of Etna and the famous Turrisi bar, where you can taste almond wine if you wish. - Taormina - We will arrive in Taormina, where we will stop for about 2 hours to visit the entire Corso Umberto, where there are numerous shops, the ancient Greek theater, and the possibility of tasting typical local products, or if you like there will also be the possibility of an extension the stop if you want to have lunch there. On the way back we will stop ‘at the balcony’, where we can admire the panorama of Isola Bella. We will stay there for about 10 minutes, just enough time to take some photos. - Messina - In Messina, we will stop at Cristo Re, where you can admire the panorama of the Strait of Messina. Also in Messina, if you want, we will take you to taste one of these typical local products such as the arancini, granita or cannoli offered by us, before concluding the tour at the Cathedral with its beautiful astronomical clock.

What a day.... - Unforgettable day thanks Angelo you made us live your Sicily with beautiful views and its flavors .ottimo.ol cannolo and granita you offered.... if you are in Messina call Angelo a guarantee ....

Brilliant trip to Castelmola, Taormina, Isola Bella and Messina - Francesco was brilliant- we had a fantastic time. He and brother Angelos greeted us so warmly at the cruise terminal, earlier than expected. He took us to a wonderful little village called Castelmola which was absolutely beautiful even seeing a very clear view of an erupting Mount Etna which was incredible. We was provided some complimentary canoli which was amazing and delicious. Then we made our way to Taormina which was also incredibly beautiful. We saw some amazing views. Next stop was visiting Isola Bella from up high - stunning views. Our final stop was visiting a church in Messina as well as the stunning cathedral. A fantastic day had by all 4 adults.

So much more than I expected to see in one day! - Oleksandra our guide and driver Francisco were so amiable and full of information. They made the history fun and we felt safe and taken care of. We loved how organized the trip was and how taking a private tour saved so much time. The van was very comfortable. We were able to see so much more than when we have taken large group tours. Messina, Castelmola and Taormina were gorgeous.

Highly recommended without a doubt - The best thing about our trip, doing the private tour with Angelo was a success. If I compare it with the guided tours we did I recommend it without a doubt, it is not more expensive and the unhurried visit was grateful. Angelo was very attentive with us, we visited Castelmola and Taormina and taught us Isola Bella. I recommend it and would do it again, the private tour without hesitation. He also proposed a chair for my baby and was very attentive to him. He made us discover authentic Sicily by taking us to two places to taste two typical desserts there and provides you with free water throughout the tour. And on top of that he gave us a souvenir!

Amazing Experience in Taormina - Angelo was amazing. He was extremely knowledge, funny, very punctual and very attentive. He went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time. 10/10 recommend asking for Angelo.

Wonderful look at northeastern Sicily - We had a great time with our guides Nicola and Altrusha in Sicily. We saw Taormina and Castelmola, as well as a couple of other quick stops. Lots of information, and fun interaction with the guides. Rain most of the day, but Nicola’s driving was safe and efficient the whole way. 100% recommend!

Highly recommended tour - We just took this tour today with Angelo and Alessandra and would highly recommend it. They treated us with warm hospitality and were very informative. They provided us with water and pointed out restrooms during the tour. They bought us souvenirs and during the last stop bought us canolas which were delicious! Thank you again Angelo and Alessandra!

A perfect day in Messina, Caselmona and Taormina! - We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Angelo, our private driver and Oleksandra, our tour guide! Angelo was easy to communicate with before the tour and met us at our ship. We were a party of 4 and his van was clean and the perfect size. Oleksandra, our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and made the history of Messina, Taormina and Caselmona come to life! We stopped in Caselmona, where we were able to see Mount Etna and the beautiful coastline. They took us to a Gelato and pastry shop, Geleteria Pasticceria where we sampled homemade cannolis which were delicious! We also sampled the gelato which was homemade and incredible! The shop owner was so friendly as well! Oleksandra also showed us a bar where we sampled the almond wine.
Our next stop was Taormina and we learned about the theatre, the churches and so much more! We asked for more free time to explore and shop and they were flexible and just wanted us to have the best day! We ended in Messina where we sampled Granita, a frozen Sicilian dessert which also was delicious! We learned about the beautiful cathedral of Messina and saw the clock tower move when it turned on the hour. Oleksandra is passionate about Sicily and her enthusiasm for her home is contagious! Angelo is a sweetheart and made sure our day was perfect! They were the most perfect hosts! I would highly recommend booking a tour with both Angelo and Oleksandra! They are the Best!!

A Perfect Day Tour - Such an amazing tour! Angelo perfectly arranged everything and his communication leading up to the tour was also fantastic. While I enjoy cruising I’m not a fan of ship sponsored excursions and always arrange my own after significant research. Still some go smoother than others but this tour was smooth from start to finish.
Our group of 6 was picked up at the pier and Angelo was exactly where he said he would be. He customized our tour and our group was able to experience exactly what I requested. We enjoyed a boat tour to the 3 caves passing by Isola Bella with ample time to swim. We also visited Castelmola with breathtaking views of the sea and Mt. Etna as well as Toarmina.
Angelo was accompanied by an English speaking guide, Alexandra, who explained several historic landmarks to us. They treated us to cannoli in Castelmola and local granite (Sicilian ice cream) in Messina before returning us timely to the pier. His van was clean, comfortable, air conditioned and he always had cold bottles of water waiting for us which was appreciated on a hot day. We were able to experience so much of beautiful Messina and the surrounding area in a day.
