Great day! - It was a nice small group. They were six of us in a minivan. The driver and the guide were fantastic. Etna was OK but very crowded and Taormina was wonderful.

Sicily Seen Best with Discover Messina - A Wonderful Day in Taormina and Mount Etna - I had the most incredible day with Giuseppe on the Etna Wine & Taormina experience. A highlight of my entire experience visiting Italy. The day was seamless, full of history and information about Sicily and Mount Etna that makes me ready to plan my next trip back to see more of Sicily with Discover Messina.

Italian Delight - This was one of the best excursions we’ve been on in Italy. Giuseppe was a great tour leader with lots of knowledge and a great sense of humor. The vineyard was a great experience as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a taste of Taormina and Etna views with great wine!

Excellent tour! - Excellent tour! Our guide was also a history teacher and was very informative and entertaining! He also went above and beyond, and he led us to where the Greek Theater was even though he did not have to. Do not worry if Mt. Etna erupts before your tour - it quiets as fast as it blows, and it is really a non-event unless the smoke shuts down the airport. It erupted a week before our tour and we still went up - you don't go on the Etna active crater itself, but on the nearby peaks where you can see the Etna crater and others.

Fantastic Tour! - Fantastic tour!
Easy meet from our cruise ship and fantastic tour guide. Given plenty of information about Sicily and tour guide was so friendly and answered questions! Apologies if misspell her name but believe it was Margarita.
We had time to walk round the craters on Mount Sicily and then a lovely tour of Taormina. We had a guided walk through and then some free time.
Company get you back in time for cruise ship and would highly recommend.

Extremes at Seasons Beginning - An amazing site but very cold the day we went .It snowed and the wind was so strong.Taormina was beautiful.Shops were lovely . Old town was so picturesque.

Honest review - A good trip to see ther a and lovely tamina on way back. Guide was v good. But the coach was of v poor quality could do with a better standard of coach.

Disappointed that we did... - Disappointed that we did t have time to go to the lift to the top of the mountain. Also there were too many people (28) crammed on our bus with no place to put our bottles or bags. Then our van broke down, the last 10 minutes before Taramino and another van came but wasn’t big enough for all of the guests so some had to stand. This also cut our time short in Taramino. Then we were forced to stop at a honey store which we had no interest in. This tour was too expensive for what we got. I would NOT recommend it
