Additional Information

This is a wilderness adventure through the Four Peaks Wilderness Area. Our journey starts with a scenic drive past Saguaro Lake and proceeds into the sandy expanses via the Pobrecito access point. The rest of our expedition will take us through the diverse terrains of the Four Peaks Wilderness area, featuring colossal boulders, towering cacti, polished rocks, and expansive desert washes). The trip’s duration is roughly 6 hours, variable based on road conditions and the preferences of our guests. Four Peaks forms a part of the Tonto National Forest. There’s a high possibility of encountering a range of desert wildlife, including horses, coyotes, javelinas, and snakes. The temperature on the peak is significantly lower than in Phoenix, ensuring you’ll need a jacket or coat. In the winter months, the peaks are often dusted with snow.

Four Peaks at Last - Never thought I would reach the Four Peaks in person. Ryan is a decisive and safe driver and knowledgeable about the area. Great scenery for us to see plus a fine lunch was provided with choice of beverages. It is true wilderness. Sad that lightning causes the fires. Whenever we stopped I would have valued hearing about more history of the area. It was truly a wonderful experience!
