Into the Heart of the Sahara

As a wildlife photographer with a penchant for adventure, the Merzouga Desert Experience was an irresistible call. My partner and I, both seasoned travelers, were eager to explore the vastness of the desert and immerse ourselves in the Berber culture.

Our journey began in Merzouga, where we were greeted by Mahmoud, our driver, whose warmth and kindness immediately put us at ease. The drive to the base of the Erg Chebbi dunes was a mesmerizing introduction to the desert’s beauty.
