Merzouga - Departure at 7:30 am from the hotel/riad. Journey from Fez to the Merzouga desert, with several delightful stops along the way. First, visit Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town known for its ski slopes. Next, explore the cedar forests in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. Then, proceed to the popular stop of Midelt for a lunch break. Continue through the lush Ziz Valley, with a final stop in Erfoud. Upon arrival in Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage. Camels will be ready for a 45-minute camel trekking experience to enjoy the sunset on camelback, leading to nomad tents where dinner will be served under the starry sky, accompanied by a Berber folklore show (overnight desert camp).

Visit Kelaat Mgouna, a Berber city known for its annual rose festival in May. Meet locals and see rose water products made from roses used for face and body. Arrive in Ouarzazate and check into the hotel/riad for dinner and overnight stay.

Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou - Tizi N’tichka Pass - Marrakech

Ait Ben Haddou - After breakfast, head towards Marrakech, marking the end of the Sahara adventure. On the way from Ouarzazate, discover captivating sights including the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (a UNESCO World Heritage site), a natural backdrop for films like “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Babel,” “The Mummy,” and “Jesus of Nazareth.” Travel through the High Atlas Mountains with brief stops to enjoy the fresh air and capture memorable photos. Upon reaching Tichka, take a lunch break. Continue to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying stunning views and Berber villages along the way.
